We've all heard about the tarrif's that are being imposed by the U.S. government, in particular those from Mexico and Canada. Klassic Katering is proud to procure only animal products and produce from the state of Florida. What does this mean for YOU? It mean's that you can confidently book an event with us knowing there won't be an automatic 25% tariff fee added when prices do go up within the next few weeks.

I really appreciate the art of brewing and distilling. But what I don't appreciate is paying $10 for a four pack of a great brand of vodka mixed with sugar, "natural flavoring" and carbonated water in a can. I bought a bottle of Tito's yesterday for vodka sauce and hatched a plan to recreate the over priced vodka cocktail. Here's the recipe-
1. Mix 9oz quality vodka and 3tsp Stevia in a glass bottle and give it a good shake, until the Stevia dissolves.
2. Pour 1.5oz vodka/Stevia mix in a tall glass and add a 12oz can of your favorite fizzy water. I used La Croix's guava flavor. Stir, garnish, or not, and enjoy!
NOTE: Not only is it delicious, refreshing and a fraction of a price of the canned variety, but the calories go from 206 down to 98. Please let me know what you think once you try it!

It's been a long 6 days & our boys have been stressed out. We took them to Pet Smart explore all the smells and pick out a toy or treat. Giovanni fell in love with a $20 mallard duck, while Luigi was happy as can be with a $1 dehydrated chicken foot.

I am so proud of my daughter, always have been and always will be! She lives in an area hit hard by Helene. She came home to see us today... she won't have power until sometime in October. We boxed up food to take with her. She got home & payed it forward by filling hungry bellies of those she encountered.

If you’re not a fan of reading long reviews read this: 20/10 recommend Klassic Katerings for food catering service and event planning! We had both services and all I can say is, perfection! Great team to work with, communication is superb and they will do everything they can to make sure your event goes as planned!
If you want the deets, read this: Beverly & her entire team at Klassic Katering was beyond amazing to work with! I first reached out to Beverly in a panic for a last minute catering need for my sisters wedding, I could already tell her and I would work well together because she had so much positive energy that radiates through the phone! She was eager to get right to work and immediately took a TON off of my plate within that one phone call. She was there every step of the way to help me stay sane, think of things I would have never thought of and went above and beyond to make sure things were perfect. The communication, the planning of and day of coordination is A++! She means business and you definitely want her on your side when you’re considering your options. The genuine love for what she does really shows through her work. All in all she was/is a life saver! Her team whipped up an amazing menu that guests raved about! Beverly and IIlene tackled things from planning, setup, making sure all vendors fulfilled duties, timelines, alterations and all of the in betweens! Amazing work! Hoping we get to work again soon!

Venison meatballs gently nestled in a caramelized Vidalia onion creme sauce.
NOTE: Considering venison is so lean and can be tough, I cut in small pieces of chilled butter and seared them in a cast iron skillet before baking to ensure they remain juicy and tender.

The key to perfect gumbo is roux the color of peanut butter. The process takes 45 minutes give or take on low heat. The longer your roux cooks, the more viscous it will become.
