🩵Are you sending style guides to every single one of your clients?
Style guides help show your clients what looks best with your editing while highlighting the do’s & don’ts of picking what to wear.
My top 2 go-to sayings are “Can’t go wrong with Neutrals” and “Compliment, not Matching”.
Yes it’s true, neutrals will always go well but can leave your images feeling washed out & slightly boring!
Instead, look at what your editing favors then use the color grading scale to recommend from there!
For example, my editing is warmer and favors the greens & yellows, so the color that is opposite to those are the wheel are Blues & Purples!
Compliment vs Matching is a huge part in styling your clients. You want your clients to avoid clashing patterns and also wearing the same pattern.
For example, if you’re photographing a couple suggest one wearing a neutral or solid color and one wearing a pattern with that same color peppered in.
Hope these tips were helpful! 🥰
