I never intended on making this post because I never thought this would be it, but I figured with Christmas coming and still receiving order requests daily that it is time.
In January 2023 I got in a bad car accident on the way to set up a grazing table for one of my favorite clients. I didn’t know it at the time but that accident messed my right hip up pretty badly and I would spend the next 2 years doing everything to make it better. 2 surgeries, countless Doctor appointments, 100+ physical therapy sessions and more. I am finally 5 weeks post op of my second surgery and am doing pretty good, all thing’s considered.
While I hope this is the beginning of the end of my hip saga, I have made the incredibly hard decision that my body just can’t take the physical labor that goes into running a charcuterie business day in and day out. It’s so hard to write this because this business truly shaped me as an entrepreneur and I am so blessed to have met so many amazing people along the way. From several TV appearances, to getting to create boards and grazes for celebrities, to big events at places like the Florida Aquarium- it really was just an incredible ride and I would not change a thing!
Thank you to my amazing clients, without you this business would have never made it off the ground. Thank you to the other charcuterie professionals that I had the pleasure of getting to know, bounce ideas off of and be inspired by. Thank you to my amazing employees, friends and family for all of your help and encouragement.
Thank you all for an incredible 3 years to allow me to do something that I absolutely loved and brought me so much joy!
Peace, love and Cheese
