Funny how things work, God will send people to get you out of your comfort zone and make you test your skills. First, I want to send my deepest condolences to the family. Father’s Day is a rough day in our household because my kids and I will give anything to have their father with them again….I’m sure that other kids may feel the same and mothers you aren’t alone. So this year will offer it’s first ever Father’s Day Brunch for kids who have also loss their dad’s. Food and dessert will be provided by the one and only and . We will also have have guest speakers, crafts for the kids to take home, and much more!! So if you know any kids that would benefit from this we ask that you spread the word!!! Meet Me!!! Before starting be_fabulous_events I spent the past 12 years working as a healthcare worker as pharmacy tech and a surgical tech. Even tho I love taking care people and the crazy lifestyle being calling in weird hours of the night I had a passion to decorate. My auntie was my true inspiration and as far as I could remember I stayed on the side of her decorating everything. I start out doing family and co worker events nothing major but God had different plans for my life. He gave me this talent and a end vision and throughout my daily struggles I’m trying to achieve it. So that small little dream turnt big and I began to walk it. Then I lost my husband along the way and I was broken as I began to slowly and I mean slowly put my life back together with our 3 beautiful children I developed a passion for floral and that’s where be_fabulous_touch_of_floral arose from. The struggle of crying and reflex a rose became my life. Not only being a healthcare worker now I’m a single mother and endure the same struggles and hardships as most but I must say it’s groomed me to be the strong woman that I am. That same auntie I remember was the first reason why I pick up a baking pan… (I miss her) we use to bake every thanksgiving for the family. It wasn’t until I had my own family playing house 😂 I fall in love with design and baking different cakes and pastries. I went to school and my cheerleaders (the kids and my hubby)cheer me on to following my passion of being a pastry chef. I lost sight once he passed but the kids are surely his minions. They aggravated me to death to bring out the mixer and I did. They push me to go back and get my associates degree as a pastry chef and that arose be_fabulous_sweetique . I know my story isn’t normal and it’s keeping us going. I love what I do but I wouldn’t change it one bit. -sorry for the long post-
