Rhapsody Ballroom: COVID-19 Protocol March 6, 2021
Welcome back to limited activities at Rhapsody Ballroom! We trust and pray that this will be the first step toward safe reopening of more activities in the near future. For your protection and that of others, please observe the following:
Masks must be worn to enter the ballroom; on the dance floor; and at all times you cannot maintain a distance of more than 6 feet from others not in your household.
Exception: a couple of the same household dancing alone (no one else on the floor) or accompanied by a masked instructor more than 6 feet away need not wear masks.
Masks should be well-fitting, clean, double layer cloth or disposable surgical or KN95, worn covering the nose and mouth. Gaither coverings, bandanas, single layer masks, and masks with an air escape valve are not acceptable.
Maintain spacing of greater than 6 feet whenever possible (e.g. in seating area).
No more than 3 couples in the main ballroom, 1 couple in the back room, at any given time (plus 1 instructor per couple). Amateur, pro/am and pro couples observing the above rules are welcome. Please call Richard (813-220-1143) to reserve your time slot.
Please do not come early or stay late after your scheduled time.
Please do not invite visitors to watch your lesson or accompany you to the ballroom unless absolutely necessary.
When in the ballroom, please keep the bathroom exhaust fans on, bathroom doors open when unoccupied, and thermostat fans set to “On” position. If dancing in the back room, please open the back door, weather permitting. If using A/C, set it no cooler than 72 degrees. Last person to leave make sure everything is off/shut.
In addition to regular cleaning, we will wipe down high contact points/surfaces. However, we encourage you to bring wipes and use them on surfaces you touch, for your own protection and that of others.
Wash hands often and thoroughly and use hand sanitizer liberally.
If you are sick, COVID-positive, have been in contact with anyone who is sick or COVID-positive, or have any fever or respiratory/infection symptoms, stay home.
Being at Rhapsody is at your own risk. We are not liable for anyone becoming ill.
Video surveillance is in use. Anyone not following these rules will be asked to leave.
Any questions, call Richard (813-220-1143).
If everyone acts responsibly to protect their own health and that of others, we can continue the reopening process as warranted by future conditions. Protocol for group classes is forthcoming. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Stay safe, happy dancing, and God bless!
