Let’s talk Bridal Portrait Sessions

To be honest, I never heard of this until I became a wedding photographer. I always thought bridal portraits were just done on the wedding day. Which, yes they totally are! But you also have the option to schedule a session just for bridal portraits, prior to the wedding day.

Now why would you do this? Well a few reason to do bridal portraits before the wedding day would be:

1. Spend less time on the day of doing pictures.
2. Get a chance to have more time to be super creative with your portraits and use different locations.
3. See what you’ll look like with hair and makeup done if you schedule your trial the same day. Then you have the chance to make changes if you need to!
4. Take photos in a different location from your venue (example: studio, your home, hotel, etc.)
