Song requests. Most wedding DJ's hate them. We love them. Up until now, we only used our virtual request system for larger weddings. Starting now, we'll use them for ALL weddings. If you're a current or past couple of ours, you know that every wedding package that we offer offers our unique guest request system. A link that we provide to you, and you share it to your guests (via your personal Knot page, etc). Your guests can request a song days leading up to the wedding, and you can see what your guests are requesting. If you don't like the song, you can delete it without your guests knowing. But what about AT the wedding? What if you never shared that link to your guests? Well, we have that answer.

Let us explain.

If you want us accepting requests, we will have a QR code set up at our DJ booth on a stand. Your guests will walk over to the QR code, scan it, and type in their request. Or we can place those QR codes at each table and your guests can scan it before the dance floor opens. We'll get the request instantly.

Best of all, this service is absolutely free. This is included in EVERY wedding package ordered from us.

We're already super affordable with our streamlined pricing. We don't bill overtime, or bill extra for ceremony or cocktail systems. Now we include this for free with ALL our packages too (if the venue has WiFi, or if there is cell service at the venue of course).

A question we get asked often during our introduction meetings with clients -

“Do you guys do a lot of talking into the mic?”

Our answer is “heck no!”

We see way too many DJs just doing way too much talking into a mic. We’re all about the music. We’re not about taking the attention off of our couples. Overly using the mic is just obnoxious.

When it comes to talking into a mic, less is more.

Knowing our hate towards the cheap Spencer’s Gifts “dot lights” 😂.. one of our colleagues snapped this photo of a wedding he attended. Using tacky dot lights for a wedding is bad enough. But this DJ decided to keep them on during a formality dance! Not only does it look bad, it’s also a good way to get every photographer to hate you.

Fellow DJs that use them - please turn them off during ANYTHING that is a formality.

As for us, we’ll continue keeping it elegant and classy with our lighting 🤗
