Tampa Bay Area MPI is the area's recognized industry leader and the connection point for meeting professionals and the business community.

Established in 1984, the Tampa Bay Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) boasts 350 members in the seven county area surrounding Tampa Bay. From Hernando to Sarasota and Pinellas to Polk, we are ranked in the Top Third of all of MPI’s seventy-nine Chapters for member satisfaction, receiving international recognition and a 2012 RISE Award for our acclaimed Connections Campaign.

We heard the feedback!! The deadline for applications to join MPI Tampa Bay’s Board of Directors has been extended through May 31, 2024. This extension provides additional time for interested candidates to submit applications.

Interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis following the application deadline, with the announcement of New Board Members expected on July 1, 2024
