Bouquets come in all shapes, sizes, and colors but now also materials. As we all love real flowers, sometimes allergies and personal preference and budgets we opt for faux florals. My biased favorite is the faux wood florals but they can look just as nice and most of the time your guest are shocked to hear they are faux! 😍💜🥰

When doing a first look you get to get most of your pictures done before ceremony. So you can get to enjoy your cocktail hour!
It also gives you a real moment just you and your fiancé to take in the beginning of your wedding day together. Your day goes by super quick so every moment you get together counts! 🥰
If you want the first time to see each other to be down the aisle that is completely understandable because now you’re sharing that special moment with the ones you love! Timeline wise it’s best when you are doing a split ceremony and reception! 💜
Also if you are ok not being a part of your cocktail hour is another great option for you! 🥰

When to book those wedding vendors? 🤔🤔
The sooner the better! Yes, timing and budget play a factor. But it is definitely recommended to book your vendors you want to work with right away. Your vendors can’t secure your wedding day until your deposit is received and contract is signed✍️. Keep in mind, most vendor proposals have an expiration date as well! The reason for this date is… These vendors want to be able to honor these pricing for a time frame. But there life and business changes day by day. As time gets closer to your wedding day it can lead to less time for these vendors to prepare and more work they need to do for your specific day. 📆 Or say you may get a quote from a vendor 3 months ago. Then now you want to book them. 3 months ago that vendor might have had a lighter schedule around your wedding date and their duties and responsibilities leading up or after your day might have been easier. But now there schedule is more compact so there time is worth more. So the sooner you get those proposals and book the better prepared you and your vendors are! 💜

This is what booking your vendors should feel like! 💃🥰

When selecting your wedding day vendors, take it from our couples… this is the feeling you should have.

〰️Excitement
〰️The feeling like you have known them forever!

Please when you have your inquiry calls or first meetings with these vendors listen to your gut. This is your big day you want your vendors to want to be at your wedding and not just another work day! I know couples sometimes feel limited to budget, travel or other limitations but don’t settle there is the right vendor for you, trust me! If a vendor comes back out of budget don’t feel discouraged ask them politely what can they do in your marked budget. If it isn’t within that vendors range they might be able to point you to a newer vendor trying to establish themselves that can do it that works closely with your first choice vendor.

When it comes to having your closest children in your life always be prepared for the possible meltdowns. 🥴 I tell couples and parents “bribes go a long way” whether it’s a stuffed animal or $50 bucks (yes a kid hustled the couple for $50 bucks to walk 😅). Always prepare for the stage freight and have a parent or close family member to help es**rt them down! Sometimes even in the melt down you will get some of the most precious pictures! 🥰
