Tampa Firefighters Museum is a great place to spend an hour while you tour thru the nostalgic displays of Tampa fire history. Wed-Fri we are open to the public and have incredibly knowledgeable retired fire fighters that volunteer to answer questions and give tours. They have some riveting stories that you won't want to miss.

Museum events and fundraisers are just one way we support the non-profit efforts of Tampa Firefighters Museum. In May we have our annual Cinco de Dodgeball Tournament and in June our inaugural Trivia Night! We hope its a huge success and will become a regular event!

We had the absolute privilege of hosting the marriage of Scott and Heather Mays last weekend. The entire Tampa Firefighters Museum team wishes you both a lifetime of happiness. During tonight's Krewe of St. Florian meeting, the Tampa Firefighters Museum received a generous donation of over $5,200.

The funds were raised through a series of raffles and door prize drawings at their annual pre-Gasparilla party, which was held at the fire museum the evening before the pirate festival.

Krewe of St. Florian President Vince Kiffner presented the check to museum Vice-president Bill Wade who said, "The Krewe is an invaluable partner to our museum, and we are thrilled to have their shared dedication to our mission."

This exact box used to stand at the corner of West Tampa Bay and Westshore Blvd in Drew Park. It's been a private collection for over four decades, and recently restored by the owners who have kindly donated it to the museum. A drawing will be held on January 24th for this historic gem.
