It....is....OFFICIAL!!!! I won the Provost Advising Award!!!!!

GOD has been nothing but awesome!!! I'm so humbled and grateful!! I truly feel blessed!

The fact that so many are saying it's well deserved validates it because I honestly thought I didn't stand a chance compared to what some people are doing at USF.

I'm not sure if this means I'm the top advisor at USF, but it seems that way lol. I still wouldn't be able to earn this without the team I work with everyday! I'm simply trying to continue the SSS legacy.

Thank you LORD so much!

In the words of Ice Cube, "Today was a good day."

First, THANK YOU GOD!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!!

Thank you to my family, friends, frat, and those I call fam!

What got me choked up today was seeing two of my students and Renea Illustrious Forde show up. Anyone that knows me, knows I go HARD for my students and my fam, but I could not have done this without the guidance, mentorship, and encouragement of so many over the years--- starting with men like Darrin White to Mr. Vincent Hennessy and so many others.

Thank you to my first SSS director Mrs. Garth for giving me a chance, and my current director Dr. Thomas for always VolunTelling (😂) me to take over projects simply because you have the confidence in me to do it and to do it well!

To my students. "They ask me what I do and who I do it for" (in my 2 Chainz voice lol). It is slowly for your success. Thank you for trusting me to guide you.

To Mrs. Bristow, Ms. Pinson, Ms. Turner, Ms. Wise, and any SSS counselor I've ever worked with, thank you for being the best team I've ever worked with! I couldn't have done this without her help and support and trust.

Lastly, to my UGS and USF family, thank you!
