We are hiring !
This position shall manage event information, sales & marketing of event space , coordinate event functions and supervise patron services for all banquet, meeting, presentation and wedding reception events. Coordinates scheduling and supervision of facility contract services. The candidate would work independently and will manage the venue. This position requires evening and weekend work that may exceed 40 hours per week and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job Description

Respond to Sales inquiries and process venue bookings
Proactively sell the venue to new clients
Market the venue to different clientele
Actively seek and support Marketing opportunities for the venue
Manage before and after sales process
Serve as event co-coordinator.
Bring innovative ideas and sales strategy to generate revenues
Achieve minimum level of revenue targets every month

Requirements

A basic knowledge of sales and business Management practices and procedures
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to exercise sound judgement and make proper decisions in handling incidents at all type of events
Ability to plan , service and supervise a variety of events
Strong communication skills
College degree with minimum one year of experience.
Experience working in a computer network environment utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel,PowerPoint and sales/event management programs
Bilingual is preferred ( English and Spanish )

Must have basic knowledge of customer service . The job requires continuous standing. Must be able to perform multiple tasks , must be able to follow verbal and written instruction and be able to communicate both verbally and in Writing. Should be able to do the Event Set up and breakdown , cleaning the venue during and after the event. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Manager. The job requires duty hours on Thursday , Friday & Saturday.
Spanish preferred.
