I have been visiting Aruba several times a year since 1977. My husband and I fell in love with Aruba and while sitting on the beach watching a beautiful sunset, we felt that Aruba was such a beautiful romantic island to get married on the beach. Aruba was not popular for weddings at that time and there weren't any wedding planners and the hotels were basically hosting groups. Sooo, in 1990 I asked a dear Aruba friend to help me with a website and that is how Cayena Weddings and Events was born. Now known as Aruba Cayena Weddings and Events. In fact, Aruba Hyatt Regency was very interested in my services and even wanted to add me to their brochure. Though the years we have established long term friendships and relationships with the Aruba Tourism and many, many of our couples. Today is the 20th anniversary of one of my couples from the UK.
I love what I do and do my best to give my couple's everything they dreamed of according to their budget. Aruba has become a wonderful destination for weddings since Covid got under control. Hopefully you will consider me to assist you if you are planning your wedding or renewing your vows

Help Biscotti See a Brighter Future 🐾💛

Little Biscotti was never meant to survive on the streets. This young calico beauty was brought in as one of many street cats during a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) campaign. But when the vet examined her, something stopped us in our tracks: Biscotti is blind.
Alone and defenseless, she couldn’t be returned to the colony. So we took her in, gave her love, safety, and her first real chance at life.

Now Biscotti needs your help.
One of her eyes is too damaged to save and will need to be removed. But there is still hope for the other. With timely medical treatment, our vet believes she could regain partial vision in her remaining eye—giving her the precious gift of light, shadow, and even the sight of her favorite toys and her caregivers' faces.
The cost of her surgery and treatment is about Afl 1600,- (about US$ 890,-), more than our small rescue can cover on our own. We’re turning to you, our community of kind hearts, for help.

Pat Dovovan was a very dear long time beloved Aruba friend. My husband and I were frequent visitors to the island several times a year for over 40 years. We first met Pat at the Wyndham when I was coordinating a wedding and wasca great help. He also attended a Care and Management Conference that I had coordinated. Whenever we were on Aruba we all made a point ro visit one another and shared many a meal together. Pat even attended our 50th wedding anniversary vow renewal on the beach at Eagle Beach. Two weeks before Pat passed away we spoke on the phone and planned to have dinner when we returned back to Aruba. It was a shock when we heard that Pat passed away. If we were on Aruba, we certainly would have attended his memorial. We loved Pat like he was part of our family and we will miss him very much. Our deepest condolences to his family and may he rest in peace 🙏

The circle of friends, last night on Eagle Beach, with presbyter Vincent Sterring, against a backdrop of a spectacular sunset, was a testimony for a life well lived.
