Blessed to work alongside some of the best humans during this passion project. Big love to my amazing husband who supports me and loves me through all the stress, anxiety, crazy hours, craft projects, sleepless nights, and Polo items taking up space in our home and garage… 🤟🏻👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻

Beyond grateful for my friends who buy sponsorships, purchase tickets, make donations, volunteer their time and talent, and come to cheer me on and support me. 🫶🏻

Thankful for my fellow board and committee members who help carry the load and are boots on the ground, especially those who go above and beyond to help (you know who you are!) 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽 We’re all volunteers and do this for the charities!

👏🏻We👏🏻Did👏🏻The👏🏻Damn👏🏻Thing👏🏻
After countless hours (MONTHS! 📆) of planning, raising the bar, getting creative, DIY projects, new ideas, and one zillion emails, the 10th annual Charity Polo Classic was a resounding and record-breaking success! 🙌🏻

This event takes nearly an entire year to plan and involves a board and committee of nearly 30 unpaid volunteers including myself, and hosts 1000+ guests, 100 volunteers, and 150 vendors in attendance. It is a massive and intense labor of love 💖 I’m so proud of how far this event has come in the 7 years I have been on the committee and board, and this year it hits even harder for me because I had to turn it out following a COVID postponement all while filling big shoes as Board President. 🦸🏻‍♀️ But I think it’s safe to say WE CRUSHED IT!!

Polo Power Squad 🦸🏼‍♀️🦸🏻‍♀️🦸‍♀️

As I prepare for another epic Charity Polo Classic event I reflect on the sheer awesomeness of the teamwork, energy, and dedication that it takes to create this massive, one-of-a-kind, better every single year, truly unique charity fundraiser!

I am blessed beyond measure to work with so many amazing people, many of whom have gone above and beyond and average event committee role (you know who you are and there are too many to list since IG only lets me tag 10: Coats, Patel, Wobbekind, Hunter Greene, Jennifer Loman, Meier, Rudolph, Amy Neff Hollington to name a few)

And there are two absolute boss babes who always stand beside me as pillars for this event, who inspire me year after year to lead by example with grit and grace, to be mindful of each detail great and small while also being boots on the ground to get things done. I could not, and would not want to, do this event with you Kelly Ross and Kelly Noel Becker (this remains one of my favorite photos of us ever!!)

Looking at these gorgeous photos, you’d never know that it was a monsoon outside and we had to execute our rain plan! The sun came out just in time for Sara and Ryan to capture stunning pics among the lush landscape of the Davis Islands Garden Club. These two have hearts as beautiful as they are, and were such a joy to work with. 🥰 Congratulations Sara and Ryan!!

This minimalist wedding filled with natural greenery was one of my favorites; I loved how this couple focused on unique venues and delicious food and beverage as their priorities so they could give their guests a fabulous experience! (And I also loved how all the centerpieces were living plants that went home with guests, instead of cut flowers!) 🥰🌱🌿
