About now for the food...
Featured at our Longest Table fundraising dinner for WUSF Public Media
We voted ourselves "Best of Bayshore," for our amazing presentation and delicious cuisine cooked onsite in a field kitchen on Bayshore Drive in Downtown St. Pete. In order of appearance, our menu featured:
Veal Osso Bucco | apple cider + preserved lemon reduction, molasses braised cippolini onions, watercress + Fat Beet Farm spicy radish micro green salad, served over Mascarpone Grits
Eggplant Etouffee | roasted eggplant, onion, celery, peppers, garlic, tomato, liquid aminos, hot sauce + spices and Fat Beet Farm scallion garnish, served over Roasted Corn Grits (plant-based main course)
Buttermilk Vichyssoise | chilled potato-leek soup with crème fraiche, chive and jumbo lump crab
Local Harvest Salad | Fat Beet Farm mixed greens, seasonal berries, crumbled goat cheese, Cajun candied pecans, honey tarragon vinaigrette, pea flowers
Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Tart | pecan pie filling with bourbon + chocolate chips, graham cracker crust, whipped cream
