Love is truly in the air here in the wedding industry & we absolutely love it! With that thought let me tell you the top wedding ideas for the month of February!
1. Colored Wedding Dresses— A lot of brides are skipping the traditional white dress and choosing subtle blush shades for February weddings.

2. Red + Pink Roses — what a better flower to represent the month of love than a bouquet of roses? For extra pops of color add lighter shades like pink or cream.

3. Sweet Treat Table— Valentine’s Day is known for candy hearts and boxes of chocolate. Get creative and have your own custom made treats for your big day!

So let’s do a quick look at what’s in for 2022!

✨ Themed Parties - Definitely seeing a lot more concept themed weddings this year. Think Old Hollywood, Roaring 20’s, Disco Nights…just to make a few!
✨ Big Blowout Wedding Styles — Even though we absolutely loved the intimacy of mirco-weddings, we are loving the fact that big bashes are coming back! Guests counts are raising quickly!
✨ Best Dressed Wedding Guest Style — After all that time on the couch, guests are excited to get dressed up again. Black tie is back, so dust off your tuxedo!

2. Pick the season you want. Different seasons can bring different elements that can make the world of difference.

3. Ask your guests. —I know that’s practically unheard of but if you have limited preferences, you may want to ask your inner circle for an opinion.

In Michigan, it doesn’t feel like Christmas at all but little touches like this bring in the Christmas spirit that we all need. With so much going on in the world currently, I’m sure we could all use a little joy and family time.

Over the past weekend, I was able to host a Christmas party in my home with my church family and by doing that, I was able to spread just a bit of joy in this crazy season we find ourselves in.

Having a peaceful home and a safe haven is one of my main goals for my family and I. Though I understand it does take some money to get quality items to make big changes or revamp a space, you don’t have to break the bank! Here are some ways I maintain a peaceful space…

1. De-cluttering & organizing
✨ Starting fresh will help you go through anything with ease.

2. Pick a color scheme.
✨ adding an assortment of natural and calming colors to your space. Color, and how it interacts with your space, can affect your mood.

3. Add Plants.
✨ The right plants can reduce stress, purify your air, and uplift your mood. These are great traits to incorporate when creating peaceful spaces.

Even though fall season is my favorite time of the year, not everyone are fans of bright oranges and hay stacks.

I know many people who are more into the neutral colors of fall.

Just a touch of the season brought in through nature says fall in a subtle way, and reminds us to slow down and enjoy the season we’re in!
