Swiping through insta and all the beautiful people, furniture, home decor and amazing food that passed through our doors this past weekend
The Southern Bleachery was once the center of commerce and community for Taylors. But it was all lost when the factory closed. Guided by our desire to create spaces where community and commerce came together, we envisioned a place for makers, creators, and craftsmen. A home for small enterprises, cottage industries, and family business.
Converting the warehouse into an event driven retail marketplace (I mean what a mouthful) has been a journey in itself. How to merge convention center expectations with our hunger for authentic spaces, complying with historic standards, and then the incredible moments of finding like-minded souls who love and want to restore these buildings and their history as much as we do.
We never could have done it alone. And it is partners like April and Tyler Wilks that make this place what it is. Their vision and vendors bring the life and vitality that we could only imagine. We are thrilled to be able to share in their event and bring unique experiences like this to Taylors.
Thank you April, Tyler and Ashley. Thank you to all of the vendors. Thank you to the for volunteering. I know its Tuesday, but we are still enjoying the memories — standing in the sunshine sipping drinks from .coffee and , watching so many happy faces with new treasures for their homes, meeting new vendors like , and , seeing some of our faves like and , and just watching so many people on the hill eating , , and .
Thanks y’all. 🤍 We can’t wait to see you in the fall. @ Southern Bleachery
