The 46th Telluride Jazz Festival will take place August 11-13, 2023 in Telluride, Colorado. The Telluride Jazz Festival is a three day and night live music event centered around jazz that is held on the first weekend of August every year. An intimate format, enabled by limited ticket sales, offers a unique chance to experience the openness and beauty of the legendary Telluride Town Park music venu

e, accompanied by a once in a life time soundtrack provided by acclaimed artists, Grammy Award winners, cutting edge innovators, rare supergroups, and some of the best student bands in the country. The core audience of loyal patrons, dedicated locals, and curious travelers creates a relaxed vibe where laying back in your chair or letting your hair down to dance are equally encouraged. Great food vendors and microbrews on tap cover the basic amenities, while additional free wine and spirit tastings from local vineyards and distilleries provide a sample of Colorado’s renowned craftsmanship. At night the music moves from Telluride Town Park into historic indoor music venues within easy walking distance. There special Jazz After Dark late night performances often present memorable collaborations and up-close viewing of the artists in their element. On Sunday, that kicks off with a Second Line brass band parade down Main Street. Colorful floats, costumes, beads and decorations are all welcome as patrons join in on the march through town.

We had the time of our lives at the 47th Telluride Jazz Festival and walked away with new memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for an amazing event and we’ll see you next year on August 8-10, 2025.

That’s a wrap! The final day of the 47th Annual Telluride Jazz Festival brought every ounce of energy imaginable with jaw dropping performances. Big thanks to everyone who performed, worked, volunteered and attended for a magical weekend we won’t forget.

The annual New Orleans 2nd Line Parade was spectacular as always! The Crescent City’s rising stars New Breed Brass Band, Hooligans Brass Band, Living Folklore, a beautiful float and attendees band together to create a beautiful marching party to the Main Stage to kick off the day. The sun is out and we have a day full of music ahead! Join us!

We couldn’t have imagined a more picture perfect day here at Telluride Jazz Festival. Smiles, high fives, hugs, friends, drinks, food, music and mountains. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an epic Saturday at the 47th Telluride Jazz Festival. We’ll see you all tomorrow for another action packed day to close out the weekend.

What a rush! Nothing beats the feeling of running into the festival after gates open to claim your festival spot for the day. Day two is officially underway! The music is on and the stroke is high.

Today was the kind of day we dream about all year long - an amazing community full of smiles, high fives, hugs and all- time vibes at Telluride Jazz Festival. Sending a big shout out and thank you to everyone who came and danced with us and tuned in to the KOTO broadcast. We’ll see you again tomorrow for another epic day of live music in the most beautiful venue in the world.

The sounds of horns filling the crisp mountain air, endless smiles, towering mountains and so much more - it feels so good to be back for the 47th annual Telluride Jazz Festival! We’re just getting started, get out here and join us weekend of a lifetime.

Telluride Jazz Festival kicks off tomorrow night! Jazz on Main happens from 4-6 pm (free music in 5 different venues) followed by the Patron Reception and Opening Concert at the Elks Lodge. Who’s ready?!

Tonight and tomorrow! Kick off the festival with live improvised performances from the Telluride Student All-Star Jazz Ensemble at the historic Sheridan Old Bar from 6:45 - 9:30 pm. Catch more student performances this weekend from over 15 student groups, including the All-Stars, Caleb Chapman's Soundhouse, Stillwater All Stars, iAMMusic, CSU Jazz and the University of Denver. Join us for the 44th Annual Telluride Jazz Festival August 7-9, 2020! Located in the legendary Town Park in the breathtaking mountain town of Telluride, Colorado, the Telluride Jazz Festival is an annual celebration of music set near the end of the warm summer season. The Festival showcases three days and nights of world class jazz, funk, soul, folk and gospel, with a goal of community engagement and student education. Enjoy a full weekend of entertainment on the festival’s Main Stage and Society Stage, late night shows, a New Orleans 2nd Line Parade, historical walking tours, interactive jams, free morning yoga sessions, luxurious Patron and VIP Experiences featuring decadent culinary and cocktail components, and so much more. The historical mining town of Telluride is nestled at the end of a lush canyon perched high in the Rocky Mountains at 8,750 feet, surrounded by 13,000 foot peaks and offers endless opportunities for outdoor recreation.
