The restoration of the house was completed in partnership with the Rio Salado Foundation and the City of Tempe in 2015. ter conservation and sustainability best practices. The historic house is a Visitor’s Center with educational interpretive displays throughout several rooms. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and on the Tempe Historic Properties Register. The house is also a small special event venue with a great room and four entertaining patios and verandas. The site is one important element to the Carl Hayden Campus for Sustainability in Papago Park. There are regularly scheduled public open house tours and docent led tours of the historic house.
