Dalton and Kevin’s “Disco Party in The Desert“ wedding was a huge highlight of last season. I first met with the bride’s mom, Kim and knew immediately that this was going to be an absolute blast to collaborate with these amazing women. When I finally was able to meet Dalton, the deal was sealed and I was beyond excited to get to be a part of their team. They had me at “70’s, Disco, colorful, fun, vibrant” 🪩🌸✨
would send me photos of linens, etc.. and I’d get giddy.
The day came and truly it was one of the most fun weddings we have ever gotten to help make happen. And and captured the energy and essence so beautifully. I delivered our last wedding of 2023 today and what a year of weddings it was! I’m so thankful for all of our amazing clients that gave us the opportunity to be a part of their most important day. I’m so grateful to all of our vendor friends that sent our clients our way. And so very thankful for our team that makes it all possible. We are so fortunate to get to work on events rooted in hope, faith and love. And I can’t wait for all the upcoming opportunities to cultivate even more beauty in this world. We just recently celebrated our 12th year in business. When we 1st started, I remember wondering if we’d make it to the magical✨ “Year 5”. We’ve worked our tails off and had the privilege of flowering hundreds of weddings over the last 12 years. What I never took into consideration is that most wedding industry professionals also get burned out and quit after a decade.
Truthfully, I’ve been burned out several times over the last 12 years, but when I said I wanted to quit, I reframed it, saying “I want to quit doing things this way”. We changed our name, started the curated online wedding collections and the online gift & home shop, while still creating gorgeous Bespoke weddings & events. In the studio there’s a sign that says “Gratitude Changes Everything”. It truly does if you think about it. I’m immensely grateful for all of you that support this small business of mine. I know how fortunate I am to get to serve so many amazing humans with my creativity for some of the most important days of their lives. There have been times over the last 12 years that I wanted to give up. Good morning, Loves! Sometimes as an artist/designer, I forget the “why” surrounding making/designing. Then I’m reminded that it’s because I have always had the need to create beauty and then share it with others so they can enjoy it too. Flowers are my muse because I think that they, too have the job of helping people experience beauty. So happy to partner with them to make life prettier and more enjoyable. And so grateful for you all to be on the receiving end of the gifts we have to give.

Hi Loves! Sarah here and thought I’d give an update on what’s happening here at Zinnia Floral Co. The studio is on Summer sabbatical for the most part, but I’m working on some fun stuff like content creating, planning and the MOST fun of all, accounting. Not really… But always good to use “down time” to really dream up what the future will look like and so far I’m loving what I see…
We will continue to book full service BESPOKE weddings, we have so many gorgeous designs in the works for this Fall. As well as, offer our online curated weddings and the beautiful home and garden goods. Can’t wait to cultivate more beautiful moments!

The will always be my most favorite piece to design. It’s not only something beautiful for the bride to carry, but the origins can be traced back to ancient times. In ancient Rome, brides carried bouquets made of herbs and spices to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck. They were thought to protect the bride from any ill fortune that may come her way.
During the Victorian era in England, the significance of flowers in the bridal bouquet became more romanticized. Each flower held its own symbolic meaning, and carried a hidden message.
In modern times, the bridal bouquet has become a beautiful accessory that adds to the bride's overall look and complements the wedding theme and colors. Brides often choose flowers based on their personal preferences, the season, and the overall aesthetic they want to achieve for their special day.

I adore the new “Sindri” vase in our Home & Garden Collection. It looks like terracotta but it’s actually metal. So pretty when it’s full of “toffee” roses. I’ve also paired it with our “Hestia” wood candle holders and the coolest “Fancy Taper Candles” from How would you style a spot in your home with it?
