Eagles Wings Band Eagles Wings Band is an organization for homeschoolers from 5th - 12th grade focusing on musical development and proficiency on band instruments. Questions?

Eagles Wings band provides the opportunity for homeschool students to participate in competitions such as Solo&Ensemble and TMEA Region Band auditions, and an ensemble setting with concerts performed twice in the school year. The band meets once a week in three sessions based on skill level:

Beginning Band: 9:00am - 10:15am

Intermediate Band: 10:30am - 12:00pm

Advanced Band: 12:30pm - 2:30pm

tudents are required to bring the following items to rehearsals: band instrument, music stand, pencil, and a Standard of Excellence Method Book for their instrument and band level. Fees: $30.00 per family, per school year - for music/copying/materials, payable at the start of each school year.

A man brought this dog in trying to surrender him earlier today. We have a waiting list and are unable to take walk in surrenders. He gave the dog to a woman in our parking lot, the woman then tried to bring the dog in and turn it in. We explained why we cannot take the dog and that by willingly taking the dog from the man, she is now the owner of the dog. She then drove to Walmart and gave the dog to an employee, claiming she found it in the parking lot. Walmart then called us to pick up a "found" dog. Now this pup is on stray hold for 72 hours.

This is why we cannot make a dent on our owner surrender waiting list. We have pages and pages of owners waiting to surrender their pet the right way. What happened today with this dog was NOT the right way to surrender a pet.

If anyone knows who this dog belongs to and would like to reclaim him, he is on stray hold and proof of ownership is required.

Foster Needed for Bagel by December 18th!

Meet Bagel, a friendly and playful 4-year-old Pitt mix who needs a foster home from December 18, 2024, to February 12, 2025 while her owner is receiving medical care. Located in Columbus, OH, Bagel can be transported within 6 hours.

Bagel is great with people, children, and dogs, and she’s especially tolerant of young kids. This goofy girl is house, crate, and semi-leash trained, though she may pull when she gets excited. Bagel loves her short walks, lounging in the sun, and curling up with her favorite toys. She’s a playful pup but also enjoys plenty of downtime—she’s a true couch potato at heart!

Eagles Wings (homeschool) Bands begin on Monday, August 26!! We meet on Mondays throughout the school year in Temple, TX. Beginners, who have no musical experience at all, can learn to play a wind, brass or percussion instrument. We also have a band for more proficient players . We are about to bust our buttons! We got straight first divisions - ALL of our 21 solo & ensemble entries received a "1" from the judges!! Students, you should be very proud of yourselves; hard work and preparation do indeed pay off! One of our number even earned a "1+" from the judge. Congratulations to Adi for that extra cherry-on-top achievement! Yay Eagles Wings Band !!🎶🎼🎵🎷🎺🥁📯

Fees: $30.00 per family, per school year - for music/copying/materials, payable at the start of each school year. $100 per student, per semester, payable at the start of each month in $25 payments.
