Are there any dates that are significant to the two of you as a couple? Maybe your first date, the day you met, your dating anniversary??
If there’s not a date that just calls your name and you’re struggling to pick a date for your big day, here’s a few tips to help you get started —
• Think about your must-haves for the day — food, flowers, indoor versus outdoor ceremony, vendors and venues you want to work with, etc.
• Now consider the different seasons, are any of those above out of season and going to be more expensive or not ideal? If an outdoor ceremony with tons of fresh flowers is your must-have then a December-February wedding may not work for you.
• Once you narrow down your season. Are there any important holidays/birthdays that would conflict with your wedding? Check with your VIP guests to see if there’s any conflicts for them during those months.
• Once all of that is done, now start vetting your venue and vendor choices and see if there’s any dates that everyone you must have is available! And voila! You have set your date! 💍
