Fun Fact: When Swan Lake premiered in 1877 at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, it was not an immediate success. Critics believed the music was too complex and the choreography lacked cohesion. However, in 1895, the revival by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, with Tchaikovsky’s score, transformed it into the masterpiece we know and love today!
