This is a post for the Upson Lee Classes 2019 and 2022.

Jinger’s Showcase along with several volunteers help bury time capsules . The capsules were filled with cards /artwork that each child who started kindergarten 13 years prior at Upson Lee.

The capsules were dug up the last week of school of the graduating year. Many were there to claim what they had put in the capsule.

So I am reaching out once again to these two classes ( 2019 and 2022) if you did not pick yours up from the day of digging or have previously stopped by the store to get yours. We are excited to say we still have yours .

It would help us tremendously if you can remember who you had for your kindergarten teacher.

These two classes were done because they were the classes my children were in. This was not affiliated as a school function.

WE HAVE THE SWEESTEST THING!!!!

These candles are to celebrate the memory of Emi. She passed away a year ago this week. To celebrate her , these are being sold to give students at ASOD scholarships as well as to continue with the building of the beautiful garden that was created for her at Smallworld.

They smell wonderful !!!!!

Thomaston friends and family let’s celebrate her 1st heavenly birthday.

Candles are 22.00

As most of you know my Husband (Scott Roberts)is running for a second term and I would like to ask for your support and vote for him as your District 5 School Board Representative .

It has been an honor to serve the people of Upson County. Below is a little information about me. If you have questions, and would like to contact me, please feel free.

• I’m married to Jinger Meeks Roberts-owner of Jinger’s Showcase, where we have been a Partner in Education for several years.
• We have 2 boys that are graduates of Upson-Lee. Hayden is a senior at ABAC in Tifton, Ga., and Highland is currently a Sophomore at the University of Georgia in Athens.
• Member of Valley Grove Baptist Church
• 1986 graduate of Robert E. Lee Institute
• Served 2 years in the United States Army and 13 years in the Georgia National Guard
• Graduate of Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
• Currently employed with the Georgia Department of Transportation as a Right of Way Team Manager
• Registered Real Estate Property Appraiser
• Served on School Council
• Volunteer Coach with the Recreation Department for more than 13 years

It’s official - May is here!!! A little over 5 years ago is when this picture was taken. Just days before my Mom passed. Not only is May the month for Mother’s Day but also her birthday. It’s quite an emotional month for me. I don’t get to go out and buy her a gown, bottle of lotion and a bag of Hershey kisses. Instead it’s flowers for her grave. If you know me , you know I bring my Mom up in conversations daily- obviously to keep her memory alive.

So for those who are in the same club as me - whether you have lost your mom years ago or recently it’s not a club to be in.

For those of you who still have your Mom- you are soooooo blessed.

This post is not to generate business for the upcoming holiday- it’s simply to say I miss my Mom and so wish that she was here. So if y’all see me in person I likely will be emotional and have not 1 but 2 Dr Peppers in my hand.

For all the pregnant Moms to be and the first time Moms out there- it’s truly the Best Time of your life. Your children are your world!!!!

For those who aren’t speaking to your Mom - refer to my pic below , it could be sooner than you think. Just have no regrets.

A GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE BEST CUSTOMERS !!!! I previously posted we were taken donations for a soldier and his fellow troops. And y’all did not disappoint. Because of your giving hearts, we were able to put 13 boxes in the mail earlier this week. I know with the holidays, financial hardships and busy lives you didn’t have to do it. But you did , and I am so appreciative for that. These boxes will bless so many. Thank you to all who donated!!!!

This week starting Monday December 5th- Saturday December 10th Jinger’s Showcase is taking in items to do a supersized care package for a military serviceman and friends. We have a precious customer whose grandson has been deployed. We as a community need to do our part. So , let’s bless this young man and his fellow troops. Please drop off at the florist whatever you feel lead to send . If you are unable to do a physical item, notes and cards are appreciated. Any questions , please call the shop 706- 648- 4422
