Well, our 2nd Customer Appreciation Dinner is in the books and we are truly blessed!
Angie and I want to Thank all of you that braved the cold and tricky road conditions in places to celebrate with us. From family to friends to clients and more, we loved seeing everyone and spending some down time with you.
If you took pictures that you would share with us, please send them to us. We will be making a nice collage to put up.
Also, Thanks to Djchilly and all our wonderful staff and family that helped put everything together and clean up. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
Again, thanks to you all and we look forward to next year.

Good Evening Plain & Simple Family.
As the weather has come and gone, we are super excited that tomorrow is going to be amazing and we look forward to seeing everyone at our Customer Appreciation Dinner.
We know some areas were hit harder than us, but the roads around here are almost cleat and the weather tomorrow will only improve on those conditions.
We understand safety and some folks may not make it, but if you can, please come! It’s gonna be a great evening of food, fun and fellowship.

For a few days we want to share with some our favorite vendors! We have had the opportunity to work closely with some amazing venues! While each venue offers something unique they all have beautiful views and are ran by great people! We also have been so blessed to work alongside some amazing vendors who offer great services. These vendors are such great people and that makes their services that more special! Today, we want to recognize Mayberry Meadows Weddings & Events located in Mt’ Airy, NC. Mayberry Meadows owner, Gina Barnes is amazing and works closely with brides & grooms to make your day exactly what you envision! They offer all-inclusive packages to make your planning process simple! Vendors they work closely with are top notch! This venue offers a beautiful home that you can include in your package that will accommodate the entire bridal party with great division to keep the bride & groom from seeing one another before the big day! It offers an amazing area with plenty of room for getting ready for your special day! The venue itself can be utilized all seasons! The highlight of this property is the beautiful big tree for your ceremony area! Pictures just don’t do it justice! Angie & I wanted to give everyone an update on our Customer Appreciation Dinner coming up this Sunday, Jan. 12, from 4-9.
As we all know, the weather for this week is calling for Snow on Saturday. With the temps getting back to the mid 40’s on Sunday and Sunny, we will go ahead as planned with our event!
We are aware that several folks will be coming from a bit of a distance so if you have told us you are coming but feel you aren’t going to make it, please let us know as soon as possible.
For those of you coming, just a note on parking.
There are several spots in front of the venue and there are 2 lots you may utilize as well. One of the lots is across the intersection at the Fountain and the other is the other way at the visitor’s center (by the caboose). If you are having trouble finding a spot, give me a call or text and I will come out and direct you.
We look forward to a wonderful night of great food, fellowship, dancing (And coffee/hot chocolate). We can’t wait to see you all soon.

We know how busy life can be for families! Whether it’s working long hours and still having to come home and figuring dinner out or running kids here & there or you just don’t feel like cooking every night of the week but want a good meal other than fast food! We are looking at doing weekly family meals starting in January offering the following:

Chicken pie with and without veggies
Meat lasagna
Veggie lasagna made with mushrooms & spinach
Spaghetti with neat sauce & salad
Creamy Tuscan Chicken w/pasta
BBQ w/sides
Brisket w/sides

We would deliver these meals directly to you!

Angie and I would like to take a moment and wish all of our Plain & Simple Friends and Famiky a very Merry Christmas and joyous Holiday season.
As we have a few weeks down time, we get to relax and reflect on all the wonderful people that we have met and supported us for the past 3 years. Without you, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
Thank you for all the love and support and we look forward to an even more amazing 2025!!

We were so honored to be a part of Courtney & Jeremy’s Wedding Day!!

After catering for almost 3 years now, we have done a lot of great events and met a lot of wonderful people. Today was no different but in a different capacity.
Our son, Zack, has close ties with the town of Burnsville, which was one of the hardest hit areas from the Hurricane that ripped through western NC.
Today, we had the honor of preparing food for app. 300 people in this amazing little town.
In addition, as you can see from the pictures, there were so many toys for the kids to choose from. They also had craft tables set up and volunteers to help the kids make special things for Christmas.
This has been an eye opening day to see how the care and compassion of others is given in an effortless manner to help those in need.
Thanks to all that allowed us this HUGE honor and to Rierson Farms and our son Zack for putting together this amazing event.

We had the honor yesterday of catering for the Thomasville City Schools Annual Holiday Open House! We served at least 250 people’. We always love working with school systems! Thank you Johnnie Musgrave for always having us’.

One of our favorite clients asked us to pull them in the Thomasville Parade today. It’s cold, the sun is shining and everyone is ready to go.

What a day!! We had the honor of catering for the city of Salisbury today for their holiday luncheon. We prepared turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, mixed vegetables, stuffing and desserts for 300 people. thank you to Kelly with the city of Salisbury for reaching out to us to do this event for you!

Our wedding season is a wrap for 2024! Our last 2 weddings took place last weekend!! On Saturday, we had the honor of catering for some dear friends of ours, Brandon & Lauren at The Hive at Sandy Creek! On Sunday, we were at Mayberry Meadows, Mt. Airy catering for Jeremy & Courtney who have became such dear friends to us as well! We wish Brandon & Lauren and Jeremy & Courtney all the best for the future!!
