Full Job Description:

The primary job of the Floral Designer is to design and create custom floral arrangements and make product recommendations for various events, including weddings, special occasions, corporate functions, and funerals while providing customers with exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

· Experience Preferred (Candidates without the relevant experience but keen in floristry are encouraged to apply)

· Must have an organic/artistic vision and a deep understanding of color, composition, and balance to create beautiful designs

· Familiarity with various floral arrangements and designs

· Able to make designs in a timely matter

· Strong attention to detail

· Be reliable and responsible

· Be able to work independently and efficiently

· People-oriented - supportive and fairness-focused

· Team-oriented - cooperative and collaborative

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Create a variety of arrangements ranging from every day to holiday, birthday, and wedding designs

· Cut and arrange live flowered and greenery to make decorative displays

· Select flowers, containers, ribbons, and other accessories

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

Celebrate spring with your friends at Pebble Hill and enjoy a box lunch while learning how to master floral design! Jimmy Singletary of Singletary’s Flowers in Thomasville will demonstrate the expert floral placement tips that helped name him Georgia State Florist Association Designer of the Year.
The Lunch and Learn Workshop will take place in an outdoor setting where current CDC guidelines will be followed while participants enjoy a box lunch and demonstration lecture. In the event of rain, the workshop will be moved to Sugar Hill Barn at Pebble Hill Plantation.Almost sold out!
