Start: Camp Bluestone, Thompson, PA

1. Camp Bluestone to Ararat (via Route 171)
• Distance: 5 miles (approx. 10 minutes)
• Start by heading south on Route 171 toward Ararat. The drive will be filled with rolling hills and woodlands, with the stunning fall foliage on full display. If you’re up for a short hike, you can stop at the D&H Rail-Trail for a peaceful walk along this historic path.

2. Ararat to Starrucca (via Starrucca Creek Road)
• Distance: 8 miles (approx. 20 minutes)
• Continue your drive east toward Starrucca, a charming village. The road follows along Starrucca Creek, and the fall foliage surrounding the creek makes for a picturesque scene. Make sure to stop by the Starrucca Viaduct, an impressive historic stone bridge, for some great photos.
