I always feel so honored to be chosen as a florist for any event, but especially for a Celebration of Life 🤍

Funerals can sometimes be a touchy event to advertise, but I have learned as an event florist, flowers bring people so much comfort, joy and beauty during a time of grieving. They visually light up a venue, and for this event, several people came up to me while I was setting up commenting on how wonderful the flowers smelled! It’s moments like those that remind me, flowers provide people with aromatherapy too!

Nothing makes me happier than providing a service that spreads joy in the form of flowers for any occasion. ✨On my website I am offering centerpieces with a seasonal Mix of fresh flowers and wintergreens in the following sizes…
-Small (for tables of 4-6 guests)
-Medium (for tables of 8-10 guests)
-Large (for tables of 12+ guests)

🕯️You have the option to add candles or have No candles on your centerpiece. Candles are 100% beeswax 🐝

🌹You can also pick a shape—Oval OR Circle shaped centerpiece!
-Oval is great for narrow/long, rectangle, and oval tables
-Circle is great for square and round tables

You know you’re a florist when you look down to this 🙈…reality is, flowers are MESSY! They take me a good 4-8 hours to process and hydrate depending on how much product I have! Processing flowers means; stripping all of/most of the leaves, cutting thorns, plucking bruised petals, and cutting stems.

I then hydrate my flowers in buckets of water over night so they can drink up and look their best for your event 🤩

This process all takes place before I even start arranging!

🐸 Ever wonder why I put a mini frog in every order? I have gained almost 200 followers on Instagram recently, so I wanted to reshare my frog story!

🐸 The Story Behind the Frog 🐸

Growing up, I was blessed to have the best Grandpa, “Grandpa Wendel”. He was best known for his inappropriate jokes, constantly spoiling my brother Wade and I, his love of western shows and hunting elk, lots of impromptu phone calls to see what we’re up to, and his ability to make friends with anyone—including the pizza delivery guy 💛

Here’s where the 🐸 comes in…
I remember like it was yesterday, we were at Casa Bonita (of all places 😄) with my Grandpa Wendel & fam. As any little kid at the time, I was growing my ticket collection from the arcade games to exchange for some “hard-earned” prizes. I remember going up to the ticket counter and spotting these little plastic frogs… I knew that was what I would gladly be spending all my tickets on. I proudly walked away with 8 different mini frogs in which I gave one each to my family members. I purposefully gave my Grandpa the camouflage print one. He loved to hunt so I thought that would suit him perfect.

I remember driving away from Casa Bonita and watching my Grandpa ‘lick and stick’ my “hard-earned” little camo frog, right onto his truck dashboard…which, to my surprise stayed perched on his dash from that day on until he passed ❤️

Another moment that I’ll never forget was when I told my Grandpa Wendel how scared and anxious I was to practice driving. I told him I was so afraid and didn’t want to practice to avoid anything bad that could happen. He heard me, paused, and then looked at me to say, “Abbygirl! You just gotta get in and go!” This phrase has always stuck with me, just like the little camo frog he kept stuck to his dash.

I’ll always remember that camo frog and him telling me to just ‘get in and go’. I’ve always associated these frogs as my reminder to do just that ‘get in and go’.

I hope you enjoy my little frog in your order! Perch it somewhere to remind you to ‘just get in and go’ for whatever it may be!—mine is perched on my dashboard 🥰🐸

P.S. Frogs don’t jump backwards, so might as well take the leap forward!
