My Titanic Tea Party is coming up soon!!

Experience Tea Time the way 1st Class did on the Titanic!
Learn about Tea Time aboard the ship & Titanic's connections to the Great Lakes area! Guests will get to see my Titanic China (replicas), photos from my trip to Liverpool where I visited a Titanic Exibit, and get to view the ship like you have never seen before!!

We will also learn more about life aboard the ship for all passengers plus participate in a Boarding Pass activity where guests will be assigned a REAL Titanic Passenger that had Ohio as their final destination and at the end of the party you will learn if you survived!!

Today was another fantastic children’s tea party 😍🫖 This one was Cinderella themed and I gave a short etiquette lesson as the Fairy Godmother 🧚 ☕️ We had a Cinderella Trivia Game & enjoyed making new friends!

Happy Birthday to George Washington! Some fun facts…
I’ve been to his office where he was stationed during the building of Fort Loudoun in Wi******er, VA several times. He was given the job there because when he was a teenager he was the surveyor for the area and knew the land! They have some amazing items of his inside, and it’s crazy because the door leading into the cabin that he used is so small that most people have to turn sideways to shimmy through!

I’ve also been to Gatsby’s Tavern twice…. I give it 5 stars not just because of the food…. Read the info on the sign!

When putting together a historical tea time, I like to use REAL authentic Decorum/Etiquette/Table Service Books that the REAL Hostess would have used or read. So Im not just and antique china collector, I also collect antique books too!!

Looking for suggestions!! In August this year I will be in Italy and of course….. I’m planning to visit a tea room!! Or as most of them are called there…. A tea house!

I’ve pretty mush looked into all of them in Rome, Turin, & Genoa but I’m interested in hearing what other people think that have been to one in Italy! Please share your thoughts!

PS — I’m a coffee lover too and have that part of my trip taken care of. Now I’m planning my tea visits!

In the Harry Potter books, Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop is located in Hogsmeade (village near the castle) along with Honeydukes & other locations in both the books & movies. It is described as “...a cramped, steamy little place where everything seemed to have been decorated with frills or bows.” and also very Pink! If you visit the Wizarding World, you can go see it all for yourself!

I think they are missing the mark by not having an actual tea shop there for people to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea!! Make this happen!

WHO WE ARE
History Buffs, Tea Lovers, & Living History Reenactors unite! Anyone interested in participating in 1940s/WWII Living History Events is welcome to join the Club!!

WHAT WE DO
At Living History Events, you can find us set up with a display showcasing life in the States. Focusing on Rationing & Tea Time in the 40's, visitors can enjoy presentations & etiquette lessons.

Club Members are welcome to participate in an event with us in 2 ways...

"For - Teas" Presenter - Registered members can collaborate with me (Tea Time Tiffin) on a booth or display at a 1940's/WWII Living History Event. Simply contact me to collaborate! Your is Tea Time at the event included!! Members are also welcome to set up their own displays at an event on their own and join us as a Guest.

"For - Teas" Guest - At any point during the event members are welcome to sit down for cup of tea with us! We will have the most popular tea in the USA of the 40's and snacks/treats they would have had during Rationing. All guests of the day must be registered "For-Teas" members, be dressed in 1940's attire, & pay $5 cash per member for their tea fee.

All Registered Members will recieve email updates with details of upcoming Living History Events for them to join.

HOW TO JOIN
Fill out the Registration Form to be a "For-Teas" Club Member and receive the perks!! There is no cost to join, no monthly or yearly fees, just a $5 tea fee per member at each event.
