**I posted this last year on my personal page...I will continue to educate on wedding etiquette! Feel free to share and educate your people for the upcoming fall wedding season!
Lots of hugs & love!

I'm just gonna be completely blunt here...THIS IS NOT OK!! Do not do this!
Until you've planned a wedding with 100/200 plus guests, you'll never understand!
But while I'm here, let me educate you!
When compiling a guest list, here's what goes into the thought process:
Immediate family
Extended family
Bridal party
Then it goes to friends, family friends, coworkers etc!
Then you have to look at:
*Venue capacity
*Cost per person for catering (and you do not get a discount for children! They eat at adult prices)
*Table count (which includes, but not limited to, linens centerpieces, chargers, silverware, plates, napkins, cups/glassware)
*Bar/beverages (which includes water, tea, soft drinks, beer, wine, napkins, cups, koozies, ice and could impact the number of bartenders)
This person just added a whole table! If 10 invitations out of 100 add 4 additional people to the guest list, that's 40 more people!
40 more people = 5 more tables = an additional $1300 in food/beverages + $200 to $500 for table linens & decor. 🥴 Just don't!
And if you need help with how to handle this situation, budget, planning etc...🙋🏼♀️ hey girl hey! I'm here! 😉
