For those who purchased tickets in advance, pick them up at the Turn 1 Pit Gate Office on Friday and Saturday. After parking, head toward Turn 1 on the gravel entry road where you’ll find merchandise vendors too! 🏁

What to Bring:
📄 Your Receipt (Picture on the phone is the best way) – Your tickets will be in envelopes with a special commemorative ticket for venue entry.

🚨 It’s here! Get ready for the South Carolina 400, with all the info you need on event schedules, camping move-in times, and more! Please note that non-team pit passes are only valid on Friday & Saturday. Currently camping spots are sold out. We advise anyone looking for camping to contact area campgrounds and RV Parks for availability.

The schedule also details when pits will open and grandstands on Friday and Saturday.

You don’t want to miss either day of action!!! Friday’s Limited Late Model Race will be 96 Laps as we honor the memory of Samie Scarpelli. Who raced at both Myrtle Beach and Florence, Samie was a massive part of our racing family. 96 was his car number, and the race will be a 96-lap event. Also racing Friday are Bandoleros, Legend Cars, and Super Trucks. These classes will be there to put on a show and race for some big money!

Saturday is a BIG DAY of racing with Street Stocks and Mini Stocks banging bumpers and fenders around the 4/10-mile track. Then, it is the race everyone has been waiting for. The Late Model race will feature the biggest stars in short-track racing as they compete for 250 laps with two segments of 125 laps with a 10-minute break at halfway. This race is for the Palm Tree and $10,000. Who will etch their name into the history books and take home the money and the tree? Join us in person with tickets sold at the link below.

For those buying tickets early, once you complete the form, you will receive an email to present at Will Call, located at the Turn 1 Pit Gate. Please ensure you submit a working email and that the address is correct to receive your tickets. If you do not receive an email, please contact the track.

A note on pit passes: They are only sold at the Turn 1 Pit Gate during the event. Teams must send a list of crew members to Laila Razmyar or Morgan Zacharias. This list will give the price break at the Turn 1 Pit Gate. For those wishing to enter the pits and are not part of a race team, the cost is $80. Please be mindful that the pits are a professional atmosphere, and it is essential to give teams and drivers the ability to work as they are all trying to win their respective events for the weekend. Failure to do so will result in a relocation to the grandstands.

We are honored that Dale Jr. chose Florence Motor Speedway to return the iconic Budweiser #8. The car means so much to many and brings back great memories—from four in a row at Talladega to “It’s Bristol Baby!”
The number 8 also has a deep meaning for his family. His grandfather, Ralph Earnhardt, piloted the #8 car to victories at several short tracks in the Southeast. Our next event is our biggest of 2024! In only a few short weeks, it will be time for the "South Carolina 250" on Friday November 22nd and the "32nd Annual South Carolina 400" on Saturday November 23rd. Divisions in action that weekend will be the NASCAR Regional Late Model Stocks, Limited Late Models, Super Trucks, Mini Stocks, Street Stocks, Legend Cars, and Bandoleros. Additional information with some exciting news regarding the event will be released in the coming days.

We have taken another huge blow as a racing family with the loss of Jeremy McDowell.

He not only was a great race car driver but an even better father and overall human being. He worked tirelessly to make a successful business and worked just as hard to make a car that would go to victory lane.
Jeremy’s final car here at Florence was hand-built by him from the ground up beginning with the chassis. You will be deeply missed by all.

This Saturday is the P*e Dee 225!!! We have a massive night of racing in store. The Limited Late Models will race for 75 laps, and the Chargers will compete in a 50-lap Feature! Pre-sale tickets are $15, and at the Gate, $20. As always, children under $12 get in FREE. Come out and enjoy some Saturday Night Short Track Racing!

For those who want to donate supplies to relief efforts in Western North Carolina - this is your opportunity—a Supply Donation Drive for the Hurricane Helene relief efforts will be held on Saturday. Our Social Media Manager, Joe Maylish, lives in the Asheville area and has been visiting several communities affected by the hurricane. Two communities in need are Swannanoa and Edneyville. While they may not make the National News every night, the floods destroyed Swannanoa's downtown. Edneyville, at the entrance to Bat Cave & Chimney Rock, is where two communities were devastated by floods and will spend months, if not years, rebuilding.

Residents often cannot work due to the floods or lost their homes. Some are still without water or electricity; it will be weeks or months before it is restored. Your donations will help them as they continue to recover from the devastating hurricane. Items listed are in the post, but any cleaning supplies, flashlights, baby diapers, and antibacterial dish soap are also items in great need!

Any supplies brought to the track will be given to the First Baptist Church of Swannanoa and the Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Edneyville. Both locations have a strong group of volunteers and are highly organized in distributing supplies to the community. Your donations will be in good hands. Joe and Steve will deliver the supplies next week.
