Now's your chance to become a vendor at the 2025 Tinley Park Farmers Market, which will run from Saturday, June 7 through Saturday, Oct. 11, first in Zabrocki Plaza before transitioning over to Harmony Square when it opens in June.

If you'd like to become a sponsor of this year's Benches on the Avenue, or if you know someone who would, now's the time to apply! This public art project is the perfect opportunity to market your business or organization to tens of thousands of residents and visitors through the summer season.

Benches are six feet long, include attached flower boxes, and feature one-of-a-kind artwork based on the theme "Favorite Food Moments.” Each bench will highlight a colorful, three-dimensional and family-friendly design portraying how life’s moments, big and small, are enhanced by food.

Those who are interested can fill out the 2025 Benches on the Avenue sponsorship application (https://ow.ly/bGZT50UIKv4), which is due April 1.

Gather your green garb, because the 25th annual Tinley Park Irish Parade is coming soon! The parade will step off at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 9 from Central Middle School and proceed north down Oak Park Avenue to the Subway parking lot. Be sure to save the date and get ready to have a great time!

Golfers of all ages and skill levels are invited to come out to the Tinley Park Golf Show from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2 at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18451 Convention Center Drive.

Three days of golfing fun will include a driving range, aisles of newly released equipment and apparel from the Chicago area’s top retailers, a live telecast of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am at the 19th Hole Bar & Lounge, a demo area with top manufacturer representatives, and much more!

The Village is pleased to announce the winners of its annual Elf in the Window contest!

Throughout the holidays, players were tasked with finding all of the elves hiding in the storefronts of select Downtown Tinley businesses for a chance to win a prize if they answered a series of questions correctly about what each elf was doing. Winners include:

The holidays may be over, but there's still a little magic to be had with the Village's Elf in the Window contest, which ends this Sunday, Jan. 5!

Elves are hiding in the storefronts of select Downtown Tinley businesses, and it's your job to find them for a chance to win a great prize. Just download the 2024 Elf in the Window Game Board (https://ow.ly/HVUo50UzxEo) and answer each question, then drop it off in the mail slot at the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce, 17316 S. Oak Park Ave.; at Tinley Park Village Hall, 16250 S. Oak Park Ave.; or via email to [email protected].

This year, participants also can vote for their favorite windows. Winners will be notified by Jan. 13. Good luck and have fun!

The Village would like to congratulate the winners of the 2023 Tinley Park Irish Parade, which was held last Sunday along Oak Park Avenue in Downtown Tinley. Winners included: Vehicle/Walking Group: Bobby’s Ultimutt Dog Training Professional Float: Heat and Frost Insulators Local 17 Performance: Band of Brothers Amateur Float: Creekside Landscapes Many thanks to this year’s Irish Parade judges, which included Mary Kay Campbell, Executive Director of the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce; Marty Rose, a longtime Benches on the Avenue artist; and Kyle Hayes, another great Benches on the Avenue artist. Also thanks to this year’s announcers, Jeff Keane and John Tadla from Andrew High School. The iconic Amaze Light Festival comes to Tinley Park starting Nov. 18 at Odyssey Fun World, 19111 S. Oak Park Avenue! Featuring light displays, massive holiday environments, food and beverage vendors, the Arctic Express train ride, live performances, a toy store and much more, the festival will run from 4 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays to Sundays through Dec. 14 before moving to seven days a week until Jan. 8.
