His Majesty had a WONDERFUL time at the Children's Museum Houston this past weekend! Along with various members of his court, His Majesty spent time teaching young ones courtly dance, some sword work, and how to properly greet a queen!

We are so thankful to the Children's Museum for having us as part of their Fall Festival festivities. Huzzah!

Their Majesties have decreed that starting in this, the 52nd season, the Village of New Market will now host an annual Legacy Pin Exchange!

These exclusive pins will be sold at the Front Entrance Program Carts and at the Information Booth.

Only a limited quantity will be available for purchase each day, and the themed weekend pins can ONLY be purchased at the 4 Program Carts or the Information Booth at the Front Gate.

Also, certain Shoppes that proudly display the Legacy Pin Banner in their shoppe will also have their OWN pins to sell to add to your collection!

Collect your favorites... or collect them all!

Their Majesties were so delighted to have spent last Friday, September 18th, at Karbach Brewing Co. for the opening of Karbachtoberfest!

His Majesty was invited to tap the inaugural Keg (with GREAT gusto!), and much fun was had!

Last Saturday, September 12th, we held our Vendor Job Faire, and it was a great success!

The Texas Renaissance Festival will host its Annual Vendor Job Faire THIS SATURDAY, September 12, 2026, promptly at 10:00 AM at the Globe Stage, Texas Renaissance Festival Grounds

Vendors will be on-site interviewing prospective employees and filling over 400 open positions for the 2026 festival season!

Available Positions Include:
· Merchandise Sales
· Food & Beverage Staff
· Food Preparation
· Game Attendants
· Ride Attendants
· Customer Service Roles
· And Many More!

Employment Requirements:
· Minimum age: 16 years old
· Must present a Photo ID and Social Security Card
· Must be available to work eight consecutive festival weekends

What to Bring:
· Copies of your resume
· Positive attitude and enthusiasm!

Additional Information:
Free Parking!
Only serious applicants who can commit to the full eight-weekend season should apply.

Today, August 31, 2026, shortly before 3:00 PM a fire was reported at one of our booths on-site.

The fire occurred at Booth #225, and it is the only shop that was impacted by the fire.

We are thankful for the swift response of our maintenance team, Todd Mission Volunteer Fire Department, Magnolia Fire Department, Plantersville Fire Department, Montgomery Fire Department and all other first responders that showed up to quickly assist in extinguishing the fire.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
