The long awaited post ðŸ¤
Genesis hersha is back and out with roses, Yes I have raised my prices to accommodate the added expenses of hiring as well as the 1/3 jump in prices on materials and stock. I have gone as long as I could with these prices without tanking myself. However, at this time I am stepping back, I have to run things differently on my end to accommodate the things going on with my health.
What's going on? A lot of various different things, which has made life so fun and interesting to maneuver around. I have some vascular issues, my heart has to work a little harder to pump blood throughout my body due to some pretty significant compressions in my chest (supra mesenteric artery/renal vein/duodenum) and my legs (my illiacs lay on top of eachother and close off blood flow back to my heart on the left) may-thurners, renal nutcracker, and smas. I was born with this anatomy, however over time of not knowing it has made its own pathways. 2.5 years ago they proposed surgery. (Stents) I refused without further testing. I have been holding strong on that decision till they provided me a course of action that has made sense. Well now they are on board with proceeding in a direction that doesn't involve leaving hardware permanently in my body, they will use the balloon angioplasty method to gain more clarity as to what is happening before we proceed further. With low expectations for it to work for a longer period of time. So they are for-seeing another one, to follow. After 2 years of consistent testing my vitamins and minerals levels are in the green. So I am a lot more confident my body will take, and surpass their expectations and make a better argument for future patients with vascular issues to go about this with a step back before they jump in and start tinkering with things. So with more specialists being added and those doctors in Cleveland, I have made the decision to put me first, despite how hard this is for me, It's necessary. I'm taking this time to enjoy life with you all, and get back to the things that are most important to me, tasting and seeing the beauty of God and all his works all around!! I love you guys!! Thank you all for your continued support and all the prayers and understanding you've all shown through the years. Please treat Genesis as you would me, she is an extension of me while she is out, she has put so much work within herself to be there for you all while I take this break, so show her the love you've shown me!
