It's that time of year again. It's time to make your family look presentable and get your photos taken for your Christmas cards. Right now we have 2 days planned. On Saturday November 19 and Sunday November 27. We have slots both days between 3 and 5. If these days don't work for you, let us know and we'll work something out. This time of year always sneaks up on us. I always start thinking about making these posts in early September but things always come up and I do it at the last minute. Don’t let that happen to you!! What an great afternoon. All of these pictures of Brooke turned out amazing!! It's weird to think that someone I graduated high school with, their daughter is now graduating high school, but that is exactly what has happened. Congratulations Brooke!

What do you do when you find out you're having your baby 3 weeks early? You schedule your maternity shoot ASAP. That's what happened to Maria and Nathan this week. I was glad to be available and take these amazing pictures of these amazing people! Congratulations, and I can't wait to meet this little bundle of joy!

This afternoon I got the chance to take pictures again. It's been a while with the past year that we've had. This past week was a tough one too, with the freezing weather and natural disaster. It was a little cool and there was strong breeze but we persevered and did this shoot anyways. I'm so glad we did because they all turned out great! She's such a doll and has a personality for days. She was such a trooper, especially for a one year old.

What an amazing time we had with Amber and Tanner again. It's awesome meeting someone when their newly engaged, taking their engagement, bridal, wedding, baby shower and now first family Christmas photos! These turned out amazingly.

I had a great time getting back out and taking pictures of Reid tonight. He is a senior at Magnolia West and is graduating 5th in his class. He's a super smart kid and he's hilarious. Good luck at A&M in the fall!!!

I love taking senior portraits, and when it’s family, it’s even more special. This past weekend I went out and took Kristen’s senior pictures and they turned out great. I love capturing people’s personalities and this shoot was so much fun. Congratulations Kristen!

Every time I get to be a part of an event that this family throws, I feel super lucky. They really know how to throw a celebration. A few years ago I met them for the first time when I shot an engagement party for Ashley and AJ, and now they are getting ready to welcome their baby girl. Last Saturday they had a baby shower and it was tons of fun. They played games and the food was amazing! It was one of the best cakes I've ever had. I can't wait to see this little bundle of joy!

I normally try to set a few days aside to do Christmas mini sessions. This year has been busy and we didn't know what our schedule was going to be like so we didn't schedule any particular day, but wanted to still offer these. Yesterday we had the joy to take pictures of something we never have before. We got to participate in not just one, but a double gender reveal. It was everything and more that we were hoping for. I have been lucky enough to partner with this family at 5 of their family events. We told them yesterday that we now feel like we're a part of their family and that makes moments like this even sweeter for us.

It's not very often that you get to photograph one of your best friends from high school, but I was lucky enough to do that yesterday. Jason and Robyn have such a great story and it was fun to see their happiness. It was also great to catch up with some old friends yesterday. Congratulations Jason and Robyn!!!

It's always a pleasure to meet new people and this wedding was no different. Every wedding has a different feel and the word I got from this one was love. You could just feel the love that everyone had for each other. This couple was amazing and I wish them the best of luck for their future!
