Took a 4 day field trip to Jamaica. Wanted to learn the cuisine and culture. Wanted to understand the connection. Was able to visit and see almost half the island. Talked, learned, and got tips from so many chefs. My experience was phenomenal, some real type Anthony Bourdain type vibe. I have an event as soon as I get back. Best believe it will be infused with what I learned. The people, the pride, the culture, all explain the food. Living off the land, I know it but to see it in person. Unbelievable experience!

Remember this pic!!! This was my 5th stop on my Food Tour. Each location prior was practically sold out. This location only had 3 people register. When the show started no one showed up. I had 5 staff workers from the building. What do you do? Like a BOSS you perform. You always hear whether it’s one or one hundred you still show up! That’s what I did. About 10 minutes in 1 passer by came in and joined. We chopped it up and possibly will turn into a private chef catering event for him and his family. Lesson: ALWAYS SHOW UP!

I learned this lesson about 20 years ago I went to Philly with my brother and we were hanging out. Took in an early comedy show! The headliner was a comedian named Rod Stapleton. It was like 6-8 of us in entire comedy club. I thought they would cancel show. They did not. His warm up act was a little fella named Kevin Hart. They both killed it like it was a packed house!!!

We crushed this beautiful wedding last evening and gained an Anniversary buddy. 9/7 will always be an epic day for each of us. Congrats to Danielle and Nicolas on 🥨 the knot. It was an epic carnival themed wedding at . Congrats to my friend Jay Yucht the father of the bride. It was my honor and privilege to do this event for you. We were on a farm so not that many pics but my Chef Ty did managed to get a few good ones. This is our 4th wedding this year!!!!
