Today Marks my 505 th Wedding Ceremony I have officiated!!!!...

I started this journey in 2011 thanks to Leslie Williams Ellis who was the BEACON of light, and the person who opened up this MAGICAL world to me and the 505 couples I've married. THANK YOU Leslie!! You have absolutely changed MY walk in MY life!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The amount of memories, hours of videos and pictures, that exist since the start of this journey, are ENDLESS!!!

The average ceremony has Approx. 160 guests (last night's had 300), but if I multiplied 505 ceremonies × 100 guests, I would have performed in front of 50,500 people over the years...

Last night a couple I married 2 years ago, showed me a picture of their beautiful daughter and then shared they are expecting their 2nd child in the fall.

I am blessed to have become a part of soooooo many precious moments in time, AND so many people's lives!!!!

This couple had me at "HELLO" and they AND their friends & family were so delightful!! Especially Donna Joseph Hayley's Aunt and my long time friend for about 38 years! Thank you Donna, it was an honor to officially unite them!!!

I just received this WONDERFUL Review on both "Wedding Wire" and "The Knot"... I married this couple on 6/4/22 at the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City. Though over a year later, they didn't forget to write a review, and what a heart warming review it is.. This is the stuff that reminds me why I do what I do... Some of these experiences are very stressful. There are NO re-do's or 6 more performances in the run left to do a better job.... I have one shot at a gold medal or a 5 Star Rating... Reviews like this make it all worth it...

Booking Richard for our wedding ceremony officiant was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He stood out among all of our wedding vendors. Richard was the perfect wedding officiant in many ways. If you are reading this review, you are probably most focused on an officiant’s delivery during your ceremony. He completely crushed this. He was graceful, smooth, funny, and very charismatic. People at our wedding asked us how we knew him because it seemed like we had been family friends for years. His timing was perfect and he directed everyone very well. He had to deal with intense wind gusts during our ceremony during our otherwise perfect day and he made it look easy. And most importantly, he ducked out of the photographs of our first kiss 🙂 However, Richard’s value was not just in his actual ceremony presentation. Both before and during our wedding, he took care of all of the little details and helped us feel that everything was in good hands. Before our wedding, he always came very prepared to our Zoom meetings with many helpful details. He was sensitive to the unique style of ceremony we were looking for and never tried to push us in a certain direction. He helped us talk through different ideas and provided great context as he has been part of many weddings. And after our wedding, he worked with our witnesses to take care of our marriage license so we did not have to worry about it at all during our wedding. Thank you Richard for being such a highlight of our special day!

Richard was the perfect officiant for us. He is very professional and his personality made the process even better. He walks you through everything. He asks for and sees your vision for what you want in your wedding. He not only asks, but he listens. As he walks you through the scripting process, he offers ideas & options or thoughts. He is the ultimate officiant, if we could give 10 stars we would. He also guides you on the marriage application process as well and how to obtain the marriage license after his job is basically done. Richard goes the extra mile. On the day of our wedding, everything went like clockwork for the ceremony. We highly recommend him for yours. 5.0 Rev. Richard is the best!

We first discovered Rev. Richard Colonna when he officiated a wedding we attended as guests. We were barely through the introductions at the ceremony when my fiancé and I looked at each other and said, "we need him to marry us!"

Rev. Rich was engaged and fully present in every meeting and communication we had with him in the year leading up to our wedding. He was warm, welcoming, personable, and engaging with us as the couple and also with our family, friends, and guests.

Rev. Richard knows how to read the crowd and the couple. His timing is impeccable, and he knew just when to be solemn and serious and when to crack a light joke to cut the tension and anxiety. We received so many compliments after our ceremony from guests asking where/how we found him, because he was incredible. Our ceremony was beautiful, in no small part thanks to Rev. Rich, who took the time to meet with us and our bridal party the evening before the wedding for a rehearsal, and rehearsed again on the afternoon of the wedding prior to the ceremony to make sure everything was perfect for us. I could not recommend him enough. Thank you to Rev. Richard for doing us the honor of performing our marriage ceremony! We are so glad to have found you and couldn't have asked for a more perfect Reverend.
