With the fair rapidly approaching in two weeks, we want to wish all the kids the best of luck with all their projects! We hope in the busy, exciting and sometimes stressful weeks ahead, all the folks, young and old who are involved, remember why we all do what we do! And remember to have fun, take it in, learn some things and grow!

🟡Tuesday - 6pm-10:30pm
🟢Wednesday - 6pm-10:30pm
🟣Thursday - 6pm-10:30pm
🟠Friday - 6pm-10:30pm

📣(Saturday is split up into two separate times, and each session will require its own separate armband purchase)

🔵Saturday 1st session - 1pm -5:30
🔴Saturday 2nd session- 5:30pm - 10:00pm

August 2nd at 7pm will be the day for mutton bustin! 🐑 🤠 Taking the first 100 kids for each listed age group.

📣IMPORTANT: ALL riders must pre enter. Entry starts July 22, and will close July 31st. See below for directions to enter and further details.

The theme of this year’s fair is “Everything at a fair price”! 💲

❗️Fair dates are July 30 through August 3❗️

❗️High Stakes Rodeo will be returning with the semi pro rodeo on Thursday night❗️🤠

❗️Mutton busting Friday night❗️ 🐑

❗️Bull buck on Saturday night❗️🐂

❗️ Helicopter Rides will be back every night of the week❗️🚁

Round Robin Showmanship pictures are now available on our fair photographers website!

They are sorted by which species the exhibitor won showmanship in. For example, if you won swine showmanship, every picture of you at round robin will be under the Swine gallery. The award photos are FREE to download.

And that is a wrap for the 2023 Leavenworth County Fair! We have many people to say thank you to, who helped make this year another great success…

First and foremost, thank you to all the 4-H, FFA, and open class exhibitors. Everyone did such an amazing job, and showed so much pride in everything that they presented.

To the event sponsors and event contractors, we thank you for the huge amount of effort and exciting entertainment provided for all the ones who came for the full fair experience.

To the commercial and food vendors, we thank you for the variety and kindness you all had to offer at the fair!

Thank you to all the auction buyers and businesses that made it out and supported the kids. It’s so great to see.

We thank the Tonganoxie Christian Church for working the long hot hours to help with all the parking and directing traffic.

Thanks to the Leavenworth County EMS emergency preparedness and sheriffs department for being ready to help anyone if needed at all times.

And a HUGE thank you to all the parents and so many other volunteers who helped make this fair happen. The hard work all paid off by bringing the community together for a great time and seeing the smiles on so many faces!

We hope to see everyone back again next year!
