🏎️🏍️WITH THE CAR SEASON AROUND THE CORNER I WANT TO TAKE SOME TIME TO PREPARE US FOR THIS YEAR AS A FEW THINGS MAY BE CHANGING. 🏎️🏍️

🛞☕️ FIRST, CARS AND COFFEE. WE WILL HAVE THEM EVERY SATURDAY MORNING. THESE WILL BE SATURDAY ONLY NO SUNDAYS THIS YEAR. SOME OF YOU MAY KNOW WHO SONNY IS BUT HE RECENTLY ACQUIRED DAREDEVIL COFFEE. THIS YEAR WE ARE GOING TO TEAM UP WITH HIM AS WELL. THE CARS & COFFEE WITH DAREDEVIL COFFEE WILL BE HELD IN THE CHURCH PARKING LOT AT 10TH & URISH AS THE CHURCH IS POTENTIALLY ALLOWING US TO USE THAT PARKING LOT. I STILL PLAN TO DO CARS & COFFEE AT EITHER FAIRLAWN PLAZA CLASSIC BEAN LIKE WE HAVE OR DUTCH BROS. WE WILL ALTERNATE BETWEEN THE 2. TYPICALLY THESE ARE FROM 10AM - NOON. BUT THIS IS WHERE WE ARE CURRENTLY AT FOR CARS & COFFEE. ID LOVE TO GET THIS TO BECOME BIGGER SO INVITE FRIENDS, FAMILY, COWORKERS OR WHOEVER YOU WANT. JUST PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE PROPERTY WE USE AND THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU. MORE TO COME SOON. ☕️🛞

🛑🛞☕️ THIS PARTNERSHIP AND STUFF WITH DAREDEVIL IS NEW AND STILL IN THE WORKS. POSSIBLY LOOKING FOR ANOTHER FOODTRUCK THAT SERVES BREAKFAST TYPE FOOD TO PAIR UP TOGETHER. I AM OPEN TO CHANGING TIMES & LOCATION TO A DIFFERENT COFFEE SHOP RATHER THAN CLASSIC BEAN / DUTCH BROS FOR THE ALTERNATION. THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS AS THINGS ARE CHANGING. BUT A SCHEDULE WILL BE OUT SOON. ☕️🛞🛑

🗓️ SATURDAY CRUISE NIGHTS. THESE NEVER CHANGE AND WILL REMAIN THE SAME. LOCATIONS AND TIME REMAIN THR SAME. ONLY THING THAT KINDA CHANGED IS THAT THE 1ST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH IS CRUISE THR BLVD WHICH WE TIED TOGETHER WITH THE CAR SHOW AT 29TH & BLVD SPANGLES. THERE IS CURRENTLY CONSTRUCTION ON BLVD BUT DAMN WHEN IS THERE NOT LOL. 🗓️

👀 SUNDAYS & FRIDAYS ID LIKE TO DO A CRUISE OR SOMETHING POTENTIALLY SO THROW ME SOME IDEAS ON WHAT YOUD LIKE TO SEE ON SUNDAY & FRIDAY. IDEALLY BETWEEN NOON AMD 5PM ON SUNDAY AND 5PM - 9PM FRIDAYS👀

🎤 THURSDAYS - WE TOOK LAST YEAR OFF AWAY FROM DOING THIS BUT DYLAN REACHED BACK OUT TO ME THIS YEAR AND WE WANT TO BRING THE CAR SHOW BACK TO EVERGY PLAZA ON THURSDAY NIGHTS WITH EATS & BEATS. THIS YEAR WE CAN USE MORE CARS THAN BEFORE AS WE WILL NOW USE THE BANKS PARKIJG LOT BEHIND THE STAGE. ALL MAKES AND MODELS WELCOME. MOTORCYCLES ALSO! HOWEVER THERE ARE LIMITED SPOTS. THIS IS FREE TO ATTENED. I WONT ALLOW YOUR TYPICAL DAILY DRIVER CAR JUST TO PARK HERE AND YOU MUST GET WITH ME BEFORE COMING. A WEEK IN ADVANCE IS NICE. I BELIVE THIS GOES FROM MAY TO SEPTEMBER OR SO. THIS IS ALSO IN THE WORKS AS WELL AND MORE INFO WILL BE POSTED SOON. 🎤

🏎️🛞🏎️AS YOU CAN TELL IM TRYING TO BRING MORE CAR RELATED STUFF TO THE COMMUNITY FOR US TO DO AND I HAVE SOME IDEAS I WANT TO DO BUT DOING ALL THIS ALONE CAN BECOME ALOT AND OVERWHELMING AT TIMES SO BARE WITH ME. ID LOVE TO BRING BACK CRUISIN’ THE CAPITAL THIS YEAR BUT IT WOULDNT BE THE SAME AS PREVIOUS YEARS. AND THIS IS SOMETHING ID DEFINITELY NEED SOME HELP WITH. 🏎️🛞🏎️

Still have a few months to go but working on planning a few things this year.

How can we improve New Topeka Cars & Coffee?
Different days? Times? Locations? I’d really like to see an improvement on this this year. I typically post in the group a few days before as a reminder if I remember.

What about the normal cruise ins? Anything you’d like to see change with that?

Any interest in setting up actual cruises? Like around lake Shawnee, lake Perry, Dover run?

Any interest in having a swap meet this year?

What about a huge car show downtown kinda like cruise the capital? But would be more focused on just straight up and down Kansas avenue and tied in with Evergy Plaza for live music and stuff?

Wanting to get peoples opinions on things.

New Topeka Cars & Coffee will have Cars & Coffee 10am - Noon at The Classic Bean Espresso Coffee House & Deli at Fairlawn plaza.

CA Brocueleg has an event over at Dream Acres from like 1pm - 5pm. ( I think )

Then Topeka Blvd Cruise Nights Trunk or Treat from 5pm to 10pm.

LONG POST BUT IMPORTANT INFORMATION

THE FINAL TOPEKA BLVD CRUISE OF 2024 IS NEAR.

OCTOBER 26TH 5PM TO 10PM

TRUNK OR TREAT THEME FOR HALLOWEEN.

IM SURE THERE WILL BE FAMILIES WITH LITTLE KIDS SO PLEASE DRIVE SAFE AND RESPONSIBLY FOR ONCE IF YOU ATTEND.

IVE ATTACHED A ”PARKING” PHOTO BELOW.

IF YOURE HANDING OUT CANDY PLEASE POST A PHOTO BELOW OF YOUR CAR OR SOMETHING SO I KNOW HOW MANY CARS ARE ACTUALLY HANDING OUT CANDY AND INTERESTED. I WOULD PREFER ALL THE CARS HANDING OUT CANDY TO PARK TOGETHER BUT I UNDERSTAND THATS NOT AN OPTION ALL THE TIME. WOULD BE EASIER THOUGH SO FAMILIES DONT HAVE TO CROSS BACK AND FOURTH OVER THE ROAD TO GET CANDY.

STILL KINDA THE SAME BASIC CRUISE NIGHT AS ANY OTHER TIME JUST KINDA WITH A PURPOSE AND MAKE IT A LITTLE MORE FUN AND EXCITING.

IF YOURE BRINGING KIDS AND ARE LOOKING FOR PARKING THE “GREEN” IS WHERE ID RECOMMEND PARKING.

IF YOURE WANTING TO HAND OUT CANDY THE “YELLOW” IS WHERE ID RECOMMEND PARKING.

IF YOURE WANTING TO JUST COME AND HANGOUT THE “BLUE” IS WHERE ID RECOMMEND PARKING.

THE “RED” IS JUST THE NORMAL ROUTE THE CARS CRUISE.

THE BEST TIME TO BRING KIDS ID RECOMMEND IS FROM LIKE 6PM-830PM. AFTER THAT IT SEEMS TO GET CRAZY SOMETIMES.

MY BIGGEST PRIORITY THIS CRUISE IS THE KIDS SAFETY. I WANT FAMILES TO COME OUT AND HAVE FUN.

IF YOURE NEW HERE OR INVITE PEOPLE. I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYONE UNLESS THEY ANSWER ALL THE GROUP RULES WHEN JOINING. AFTER A WEEK OF UNANSWERED QUESTIONS THE PERSON WILL BE DENIED OF JOINING.

What’s a car that you’ve previously owned that you miss? Let’s see it.

HALLOWEEN TRUNK OR TREAT OCTOBER 26TH 5-10PM ISH OUT AT OWLS NEST ON SOUTH TOPEKA BLVD. LIKE WE HAVE DONE PREVIOUS YEARS. I WILL MAKE ANOTHER UPDATE ON THIS SOON AND CREATE A FLYER.

I recently broke my leg and had to have surgery so I haven’t made many post and updates as I’ve focused on that and currently am not mobile and can’t drive. I miss doing car stuff with my friends.

Would really like to have one good final New Topeka Cars & Coffee meet before the end of the year.

Reminder tonight is the first Saturday of the month so that means cruise the Blvd.

A lot of potential car stuff going on Saturday.

We can start with New Topeka Cars & Coffee.
10AM - Noon
Dutch Bros Coffee at 17th and Wanamaker.

Cruise around to the lake after. Leave Dutch Bros at 12:30pm sharp. We will go south on Wanamaker to 29th. 29th east to West edge road. Follow west edge road south to 45th. 45th east to East edge road. East edge road back north to Croco. Croco north to 29th. 29th west to California. And end at 785 Showdown.

785 showdown is from 2-8pm. Last years event was huge. Let’s see what happens this year.

5pm to 9pm is Cruise night at The Pad Restaurant.

Maybe incorporate hanging out on The Blvd?

The group has finally surpassed 9k members!

Will be a posting an updated post on bringing the blvd back. Looking at doing just every other weekend. Next one being June 15th!

Wanting to have a huge car show possibly in August. I miss cruising the capital. What are things you’d like to see at a car show?
