After years in the catering business, we’ve learned a thing or two about what makes a great caterer. If you’re planning an event, here are our top tips to help you choose wisely:

Experience Really Matters. How long has the caterer been in business? Large events require expertise, and experience makes all the difference when things get busy.

Capacity Counts. Has the caterer handled an event of your size before? A caterer’s kitchen capacity plays a big role in how many people they can serve efficiently.

Check the Buzz. What are people saying? I always recommend asking a friend about their experience and checking recent online reviews.

Taste & See Test. Never skip the tasting. This is why we make it a priority for wedding couples and corporate clients—because the food should be just as impressive as the event itself.

Communication is Key. If you’re waiting days for a response, imagine how stressful that would be leading up to your big day. A great caterer should be responsive and easy to work with.

Tier 1 – Classic choices like lasagna, chicken alfredo, pork carnitas, and enchiladas.

Who of you made it out to The Brownstone last Sunday for The Wedding Experience? Did you have as much fun as we did?
We had a great time talking food with attendees and how they can get the best catering in Topeka for their special day. We are excited to say that we, along with our hosting partner, The Brownstone Event Venue, will be making this an annual event. So if you missed us this year, we will be back next year!
