On this date, 10 years ago, Tristan Mott and I hauled a bunch of brand new DJ equipment into Shawnee Heights High School and provided DJ services for our first event ever, a school dance. Two months later, we DJ'd our first wedding for Richard & Brandy Martinez at Topeka Country Club. We had no idea what the future would hold for our small business, but we could never have imagined the success we've had. We are truly blessed that so many people have trusted us to provide entertainment services for their weddings and events. Without taking the time to compile the records, a conservative guess is that we've been a part of over 350 weddings and 500 events over the last decade. There have been so many people who have helped us along the way, it would be impossible to mention them all. Thanks to all of our past and future couples and clients for supporting us, thanks to the entire community of wedding professionals that have been so amazing, thanks to all the venues who have been so gracious, and thanks to everyone who has worked for Top City Entertainment over the years! Finally, and most importantly, thanks to Marilyn Mott, Audrey Beaudet, and all of our significant others for supporting us and putting up with our crazy DJ schedules. It's a pretty big sacrifice to give up 500 Friday & Saturday nights together over 10 years! Let's get this party started!!
