Happy January!

This is honestly one of my favorite times of the year. It’s my rest month. I get out my notebooks and planners, grab a cup of tea and begin planning out the garden beds while sitting by the wood stove.

Big things are coming though! We are launching a small online dahlia tuber sale this year! Coming in March 2025 🙌

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas season! 😊

Christmas break means planting hundreds of ranunculus corms on our farm (with the help of my mom and Gus). We got the first batch done, 272 in the ground so far! Don’t they look like little spiders when they are pre-sprouted and rooting?? 🕷️

My “office”

Come October, my everyday view switches from gardening & farming to pottery. The studio has been down for several months and I am itching to do some throwing.

In the meantime, I’ll be tagging, labeling, & snapping ID photos of all the dahlias before Frostmas comes.
