This Friday September 23, 7:30 - 9:00PM the Torrance Community Services Department presents their "Co-Rec Open House" in the Ken Miller Recreation Auditorium.
Parents and Students in grades 6,7, and 8, are invited to come and check out the Co-Rec Program. Co-Rec features DJs, snack bar, game room, and door prizes!

The South Bay Lapidary & Mineral Society will be presenting their 67th Annual Rock & Mineral Show on Saturday & Sunday, April 2nd & 3rd, 2016 -- and you're invited!
This event, entitled -- Nature's Treasures, will exhibit rocks from all over the world that display beautiful colors under ultraviolet lights presented by the Fluorescent Mineral Society. This exhibit is one of the most comprehensive and varied collections of fluorescent minerals you will ever see in one place. There will also be "How To" demonstrations such as gold panning, bead working, gem carving, metalsmithing, wire wrapping and more.
