We just delivered this delicious platter to our neighbors Kelly's Crystals, they are having an amazing sale this weekend on their Fine Jewelry.

Stop in and see us, we will be closing today at 2pm for a Private Celebration of Life being held here but are open until 2 to serve our amazing customers!

We know the Ice is intimidating and many folks don’t want to risk it; truthfully we don’t blame you at all! The ice mountains are a tad overwhelming for even us to come into work each day, not to mention the chill in the air hurts our face.

The good news is we offer Delivery through DoorDash & Grubhub!

Now if you have a great sense of adventure we sure would love to see you and while it’s not crazy warm we can promise it’s warmer in our Cafe then outside!

Now let’s talk about these snowbanks making it nearly impossible for a passenger to get out safely. We have heard some folks think it’s each store owners responsibility, while others think it’s the city’s or building owners responsibility. Here’s the scoop, the sidewalks are the building owners responsibility (unless in rare cases their lease says otherwise) but the snow banks created by the plow trucks are “undecided” who is responsible and so often times they just get left. Which makes it ridiculously difficult for anyone to safely navigate and also puts a tremendous burden on the small businesses directly impacted by the lack of removal. Now some will say, “Well if that’s the case then the small businesses should remove the banks?”My reply to that is you’re not wrong but many small businesses are barely surviving in this economy and simply lack the funds to clear the excess mountains of ice.

If you only knew how many hats a small business owner wears and that their posted hours reflect only a small percentage of the time they actually put into growing their business it would make sense why they might not have the funds or energy to physically remove it themselves.

Thank God warmer temps are in the forecast which means some of these mountains should start to melt away but in the meantime small businesses need their customers to survive. Please remember to Shop Small during these cold months so that your favorite businesses will make it to Spring.

I would love to be in a position to give everyone a prize but guys I am honestly just fighting to survive like most small businesses. I have a tremendous amount of debt/stress from moving into the new space to pay off, maybe once I do I will have a big party and treat all our amazing customers to a special day but until then I can only afford to do smaller type giveaways and then sadly a rotten spammer has to ruin things. Absolutely disheartened right now and deeply apologize to all of you!

Being a small business owner has many challenges and one of them is deciding to open/close on days like today. The decision is never easy but when your team member makes a pun “our lives are worth more than a flight of soup” it puts things into perspective. Thank you Andrea for being my voice of reason today!!!

We will be closed today (Thursday 2/6/25) mainly because of the sleet/freezing rain heading our way this afternoon.

Sometimes technology is not my friend but tonight I finally figured out how to set up pre-ordering correctly. FINALLY you can pre-order for special occasions like Valentines Day and the system will automatically default to when the items are available for pick up. Likewise it'll also stop allowing orders once the cut off date is reached. WOOOT, that only took me years of trying... to figure it out! 🤣
