As a small, family-owned & operated business who has proudly served the community for over 68 years, we contemplated posting the disheartening comment made on our social media platform today. McMaster’s Florist, along with many other independent, non- large box Companies, have endured one of the most unprecedented years in its business history. It is unfathomable that such hatred & intentional disturbance to a Company could be a persons target however today we were victimized by an unpopular comment in response to a dear family friends funeral flowers from April that we constructed. At McMaster’s Florist, we are an all American (proud), God loving family who thoroughly enjoys serving our dedicated clients & always welcoming new customers with their thoughts, ideas and artwork. We oblige to ALL requests & would never think to isolate a customer based on their wishes. Should you find yourself in the neighborhood, stop in & say hello but please DO NOT apply the theory here that customers are “allowed” to post negative comments with hopes of destructing a Company, it is immoral and defies what this beautiful Country stands foundation on.
Providing a logical, comparable hypothetical would be writing absurd, negative comments on a restaurants social media page from someone who perhaps is a vegetarian, however the restaurant serves all types of food. How dare that restaurant serve ALL requests! (End sarcasm). It’s ludicrous that people think they have control behind a keyboard these days.
