Last evening (6/14/24) we were in Bethlehem, PA at the Portuguese American Club covering a Brazilian Valentine's dance with our photobooth. Today (6/15/24) we are at Barn Appetit in Milton, PA covering a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Wysmuller!

Did I mention the wedding is disco themed? Yep, this is gonna be an awesome night!

We (Mike, Doug K., & Dawson) were out at only two events this weekend. Yes, occasionally we have light weekends where we only have two events. We enjoy every moment whether it is a seven event weekend or a two event wedding weekend.

Here is a glimpse of the two weddings from this weekend: Saturday at The Manor at Mountain View, Fishing Creek (Hbg) and the second (Sunday) at Historic Acres of Hershey.

Tonight (May 11, 2024) we are at the Hershey Lodge Convention Center providing music, room uplighting, and a photo booth for approximately 600 people. This event is for the 2024 graduating class of the US Army War College in Carlisle, PA. We absolutely appreciate and respect all of the military personnel who put their lives on the line every day. Thank you for your service and all you do for your country.

We are asking for everyone's thoughts and prayers as one of our DJs is going in for heart bypass surgery tomorrow morning (9/26/23). Luckily his blockages were caught and the surgeon says that this can be corrected with bypass. Doug has been with our DJ family for quite a few years and has always brought joy and smiles to everyone he meets.

Today we are at a brand new venue in Pottsville, PA! This is Arrow Studio & Events which is located inside the former Nathan's building! (I remember shopping there as a child with my parents, but now I'm showing my age!). This is an absolutely gorgeous venue with a ton of history and character! It is located right in the heart of Pottsville which also is deep with history and there are many local establishments/businesses within walking distance. If you are looking for a nice venue that can easily hold 175 guests if not more, this is the venue for you! This venue has both on and off street parking. Did I mention the owner and staff are amazingly friendly!

Today we are using our Complete LOVE Package and a small room uplighting package to create focal points in the room! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Masser!

Today we are out performing for two weddings. Mike and Dawson are in Schuylkill Haven at the fairgrounds for a large wedding. Brock is in Pocono Pines for a smaller, more intimate backyard wedding.

Tonight Doug and Mike are set up and ready to get the party started at Amy and Troy's wedding at the very elegant Wyndham Garden in York, PA. We are using our "Happily Ever After" package which includes everything you see in the pictures (dance lighting, room uplighting, monogram, photo booth, scrap book) plus a USB of all of the photos from the photo booth. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Williams!

Here we are once again at the PennLive.com Sports Awards Banquet in Camp Hill, PA. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take too many pictures as people were already arriving. Congratulations to all of the award winning athletes at tonight's event!

We did it, and survived! Today we (Brock and myself) were in Lancaster set up for a bridal show. There were only two of us and roughly 800 people that came through. What were we thinking? 😆 Our photo booth had a line around the corner the entire event and we got to meet some really awesome people! After we shut down our photo booth we checked the number of prints, our booth printed out 372 prints. I'd say it was a popular stop today!

We want to say thank you to everyone who stopped by and talked with us. We had a complete blast and look forward to working with all of our new clients.

Now it's time for some much needed sleep before I send out everyone's paperwork!

WEDDING TIP OF THE DAY: Your guests are going to walk away from your wedding reception with only two possible outcomes.
A.) They had a great time!
~or~
B ) They didn't!

There is no gray area in between! Don't risk that one moment in your life's journey by hiring the cheapest possible DJ because "it's just music and it doesn't matter." Your DJ is just as important to your reception as what your officiant is to your ceremony. After all, who is going to lead you from the first introduction to the last dance?

Don't believe me? I have a challenge for you, 6 months after your wedding ask your guests if they remember what they ate at your reception. Most will have to think about it and most likely not remember. Now ask them if they remember having a good time. They CAN answer that question right away!

The moral of this story is: you've spent a ton of money on food that takes less than 40 minutes to consume, people forget about it, and if you think about it, we essentially flush it down the commode! Your DJ is generally the first one in and the last one out during your wedding day, makes all of your announcements, moves all your special moments along in a flowing manner, and entertains your guests!

Do the math! I'm sure that a $300 wedding DJ will give you memories! But not the ones that you had hoped for!

Don't forget to look at your DJs reviews online, find out about their wedding experience, and ask for referrals.

Last evening we supplied sound, lighting, and decor for Santa for the Lykens, Pa tree lighting ceremony. The local fire company band (Lykens Hose Band) played some great Christmas music and we also had the true meaning Christmas read, sung, and acted out by the Bingaman family. Also making an appearance was Cookie Monster, Tigger, and The Grinch. This was truly an amazing event! Until the Grinch took over my equipment! 😆
