What is the "Coming-of-Age Ritual in your part of the world?

Many countries have rituals of the same significance, a "Rite of Passage".
These rituals are a ceremony or tradition that marks transition from being a child to being an adult. This symbolizes readiness to take on new responsibilities and roles in the family and society.
A quinceañera is a traditional Latin American coming-of-age celebration for girls on their 15th birthday. The celebration is a cultural staple that honors family, friends, God parents and community members, and is filled with emotional rituals and symbolism. Some Latin American families have adapted the coming-of-age tradition of the Quinceañera to include boys, or have gender-neutral parties. The Quinceañero, as it's called when a boy has the celebration, serves the same cultural purpose as the Quinceañera, which is for girls: to celebrate the boy's life and present him to God in front of family and friends, while also marking his transition into adulthood. The Quinceañero can include traditional elements of the Quinceañera, like cake, elaborate performances, and emotional dances, but may reject traditional gender norms. The tradition can be traced back to the Aztec civilization, when a boy's 14th birthday marked when he had mastered life-long skills.
In America its called a "Sweet 16", in Jewish communities its a "Bar or Bat Mitzvah" and the Amish call it "Rumspringa".

⚜My favorite time, is when a customer calls to say they are coming by the venue to pick up their custom designer layout! Or they are picking up their 16"x20" framed canvas print.
The sheer joy and happiness they exude is contagious and makes all the hard work so worthwhile.
I must say, we have such a good team and everyone contributes to our ultimate goal: Making our customers happy with their memories of their special day!

Continuing with the GREEN theme for today...this was a recent 20th Anniversary for about 300 people. They used some of our centerpeices in combination with their centerpeices and used our emerald green satin linens.
The room was set up with all of our tables, chairs and linens. They hired someone to do additional decorations by adding more floral and candles.

This layout is designed for an album that measures 18"x12" and has a split on the right third portion of the book.

⚜Emerald 🍀green symbolizes 🎁wealth, refinement, and 👑royalty. Additionally, it represents balance, harmony, renewal, and growth. Gold denoting generosity and compassion. This past Saturday we had one of our very favorite color schemes representing one of our dearest friends for their daughters Quince.
