A Heartfelt Thank You 🌟

First and foremost, I want to give thanks and honor to God. Through His grace, I have made it to this day. To my family, friends, and well-wishers: your prayers, love & unwavering support have carried me thru this journey. Words cannot fully express my gratitude for each of you.
Most of all, I want to honor my wife, Stella Lakey, my rock & my greatest blessing. Without her steadfast love & strength, this journey may have had a very different outcome. Stella, you are my anchor, my heart & my constant source of inspiration. Thank you for standing by my side.
Today marks a milestone—my last day of radiation treatment for stage 4 prostate cancer. This has been the most trying time in my 52 years. As someone who has always felt strong and invincible, this experience has been a humbling reminder of life’s fragility. It has taught me to cherish every breath, every moment & every opportunity to show love and gratitude.

For those who know me, you know I live life to the fullest. I don’t take “no” for an answer, I strive to create win-win situations, and I don’t let others’ influences dictate my choices. That mindset has carried me through even the toughest of times.
I want to leave you with this: In this world full of uncertainties, live your life to the fullest. Stay positive, show love and compassion & always give thanks for another day. If the Lord woke you up this morning, He has given you another chance to do something great.
Thank you all who walked this road with me. Your love has been a light in my darkest moments. However you know me—Jerrod, Jed Dogg, or Jay—know that I am forever grateful for you 🙏🏽
