We are back in business!
Formally known as Lavender & Lace Weddings now Blushed Elegance Events.

We started the business back in 2019 and had many successful years of planning, coordinating and designing weddings.
Our owner Megan had a high risk pregnancy with her third baby and unfortunately had to take a step back due to the complications of that pregnancy.

Now we are ready to make a comeback, and we are coming back bigger and better!

We completely reworked the website, added new services and added more wedding planners and coordinators to take charge of your weddings!

We are running a special for the next two months! Whether you are a 2024 bride looking for a coordinator or planner or a 2025 bride, message us on the website or on Facebook to get started.

A beautiful day at The Botanic Gardens and The Cathedral Barn. I have to say this is my favorite wedding dress this year! This couple had a beautiful ceremony and reception. My favorite part was their first dance. It is becoming more popular to come into your grand entrance and start your first dance. That way all eyes are on you.

This wedding was one of my favorites this year. Unfortunately, the original venue double booked their wedding day and with three weeks before the wedding we had to scramble to find a new place to hold the ceremony and reception. But we did it! The couple then had to change their entire décor and theme because of the venue change. With them being out of state, they gave me the reins and I took care of it. They didn't get to see everything come together until the day of! They were beyond happy and had a beautiful ceremony and timeless reception.

I love May weddings! This wedding was super cool with the ceremony by The Cathedral Barns, with their reception under a tent and dancing at the pavilion. Though it got super cold every single guest was out there on the dance floor busting a move! Which is super awesome.

Covid hit this couple pretty hard. With last minute venue changes I would say this was still if not even prettier venue. And it was just their parents home! 307 Tents and Events did an amazing job with these beautiful see through tents.
One of the dad's made beautiful wood benches for the ceremony, which was so heartfelt! But I think one of the best parts was watching the bride, her father and the guests dance! They had some pretty sick moves. Funkle Jessie the band did an amazing job keeping everyone pumped!

The morning started off beautiful, a little chilly but nothing too bad. Then of course right as Dan and Allison wanted to do their first look it started to rain. But you know what they say "Rain on your wedding day means good luck!" Not that these two need it as they are perfect for each other.
The ceremony took place at the chapel in the woods at Jacobs Farms. And I have to say this is one of my favorite ceremony locations. Just look at how gorgeous it is!
The reception went off with a hit and tacos for dinner are always a plus! The rest of the night the couple and their friends and family partied and celebrated this wonderful couple.
Congrats and thank you for allowing me to take part in your special day.

With 2020 wrapping up (thank goodness, am I right?! 🤪)
I just wanted to take a second to thank all of the couples who chose me to be apart of their special day. I wish all of you many many years of happiness!
For all of my current 2021 couples and for the 2021 and 2022 couples who are reaching out for my services first off congratulations on your upcoming wedding and I would love to be apart of your special day as well.
The next few days/weeks I will be a little busy welcoming my third daughter into this crazy world.
I take pride in responding to messages and questions quickly and I will try to do my very best to be as responsive as I can during this time.
