Have I told you that I LOVE photographing senior living communities!?! Well, I do! Let me tell you why.

My biggest commercial client is a wonderful company who owns senior living communities all over the midwest. Every summer they send me out to photograph the communities that have been remodeled. I photograph the building and also the residents. I love it because I meet the most fascinating people.

I photographed this lovely couple back in July. They are in their 90s and have been married for 70 (yes, SEVENTY) years! WHAT!?! 😍

Drone Photography and Videography
NMC Extended Education

The creativity and new perspective of a “bird’s eye view” is everywhere in contemporary photography and videography. Experience and learn about aerial photography and videography utilizing drones. Work with NMC Instructor, Coreene Kreiser, to understand digital camera operations, basic photography and videography principles, and practice using photography and video editing software. Aviation staff will walk you through specific photography and videography flight techniques. Some prior drone experience is required.

In summer 2017 I traveled to 11 senior living communities in Michigan and Ohio photographing the buildings and the residents. This was a repeat of the same job in 2010 as they updated their website. The communities are owned by Independence Village and Storypoint Village. They are incredible. The level of love and care they provide to their residents is unparalleled. I'm so thankful for such a great company to work with!
